About
Take part in the historic beach landings at Gallipoli and fight for survival on unforgiving shores and sun-scorched deserts!
After the muddy trenches of Verdun, the snowy plains of Tannenberg, and the imposing Alps of Isonzo, Gallipoli brings you the deepest dive into the Ottoman Fronts of World War 1 through grounded, yet accessible battles.

Gallipoli puts you in the shoes of a regular soldier of the British and Ottoman Empires. This is a hardcore, one-shot-one-kill PVP environment that demands teamwork in intense objective-based battles.

Fight on varied yet unforgiving battlefields in the infamous four-year campaign across the Ottoman fronts. Land on the beaches of Anzac Cove at dawn to seize the Dardanelles, attack the fort at Cape Helles aboard the SS River Clyde, or advance through the streets of Kut Al Amara to push back the British forces in Lower Mesopotamia.

Work together as a squad to gain an edge over your opponents in 25v25 PVP combat. Pick from 10 different specialized classes, each with an essential historical role on the battlefield. Take the lead as an Officer, lay down suppressive fire as a Heavy Machine Gunner or Sniper, and keep your squad in the fight as a Stretcher Bearer!
Weighty weapon handling and methodical reloads keep the engagements grounded, affected by your mental state and familiarity with each weapon. Explore the authentic arsenals of the British and Ottoman Empires, featuring over 50 highly detailed weapon and equipment options, and feel each weapon’s historical characteristics.

plaged with cheaters without the devs doing anything constant 800 meter deaths with iron sights and or pistols

Every time disconected. So enoying
So far every game has felt like a chaotic scramble with very little teamplay or cohesion. Attackers have very little way of tactically advancing on a positon (no smoke grenades or squad leaders serving as advanced spawn points). But they also don't really need it. On the maps I have played on so far, the defensive positions have very bad line of sight and few good points to set up heavy weapons. So there is usally very little fighting until the attackers have crept up on the defenders position. Then you get into a chaotic melee where a pistol is the best weapon you can hope for. The suppression mechanics are pretty neat and suppression actually works quite well. Despite that it still rarely feels meaningful in a game that is mostly about creeping up through terrain and less fighting your way up to a position. I also noticed several maps where you spawn right next to an excluded area. So you end up taking a few wrong steps and might die to the zone protection before really noticing what is going on. On some maps the restricted zone is so harsh, that the defenders can barely move out of their trench. Which wouldn't be so much of a problem if it offered halfway decent fighting positions. But since it doesen't you end up trying to crawl into a crater in front of the trench only to be informed that you can't be there and have to go back to your trench from where you can't see anything. So you sigh, climb back into the trench and wait for the other team to walk into the trench so you can duke it out in there.
Could be a very very good game I will change review once it is Currently: Gunplay horrible Balance between attacker and defender horrible Ill stay with Isonzo
Fun, but desert combat just isn't my thing.
