There are seven squads, 50+ weapons, eight large maps that give players tactical freedom, and a 64 player game mode with full AI bot support so you can experience epic battles at any time! Everything has been recreated with the same attention to detail seen in Verdun, the first entry in the WW1 Game Series.
This historical game takes place across the lakes, forests, mountains and snowy plains of the Eastern Front - it was inspired by the Battle of Tannenberg in 1914, one of the most iconic encirclement battles in history. Players will be able to master a range of authentically modelled equipment brought to the field by Russian Frontovik and Cossack squads, the renowned Latvian Riflemen, or the Roumanian infantry squad. Alternatively they can join the Central Powers to serve in an Austro-Hungarian K.u.K. unit, with the German Infanterie, or in the Bulgarian rifle section.
Tannenberg offers several game modes - including the exciting Maneuver game mode reflecting the nature of war on the Eastern Front, as 64 players battle across large maps where the objectives and battle lines are always shifting. Survive the deadly battles by working together with your four man squad and utilizing your distinctive skills. There is a wealth of historical detail including realistic WW1 weaponry, authentic uniforms, horrendous gore, and maps based on real battlefields.

The WW1 Game Series currently includes Gallipoli, Isonzo, Tannenberg and Verdun. Engage in expeditionary warfare through the Middle Eastern Front in Gallipoli, scale the mountains of the Alpine Front in Isonzo, maneuver for control of key sectors in Tannenberg on the Eastern Front or dive into the trenches along the Western Front in Verdun. These authentic WW1 shooters let players choose from a range of squads from across the war, as they fight for control of the ever-changing frontlines.
We recreate the atmosphere of the Eastern Front with the same level of accuracy as seen in all our games. Extensive research has been conducted, with uniforms recreated to the tiniest detail and weapons modelled to exact references. The maps use realistic props and terrain layouts based on locations from the hilly forests of Galicia to Polish villages subjected to scorched earth tactics and more!

re-releasing this along with verdun, izonso and future titles in some halo MCC combo so that all could be playable from one game would be the best thing to happen to gaming in years
игру я однозначно советую!!! :) мое мнение, что игра в несколько раз лучше isonzo, на основе у меня 100+ часов в нее (да, я маньяк), и даже спустя столько лет игра продолжает приносить удовольствие. Онлайн более менее, карты красивые, стрельба удобнее, чем в verdun, честно после tannenberg мне очень неудобно играть в verdun. На скидках решил прикупить и на второй аккаунт все 3 части, так сказать отдать дань уважения :) ждем новую часть в 2026 году! за царя! :)))

Pero aún así no puedo con mi genio y quiero experimentarlos porque me gusta mucho la temática. Entonces me dije a mi mismo en aquel entonces.. "Lo compro y esta vez lo voy a hacer bien", entonces entro y a los 2 segundos muero. Entro nuevamente y al 1 segundo muero. Entro nuevamente y a los 0.5 segundos muero otra vez!!!. Y digo.. ¿Pero que es lo que está pasando? no veo a nadie que me esté disparando?. Y resulta que alguna Ra-Ta sin vida se ha puesto en un lugar o algún truco que descubrió mirando videos de tontube para matar mas gente y así subir de nivel y tratar de compensar su carencia, (el tener una cho.ta chiquita), y asi sentirse mejor. Entonces a la gente con cho-tas como dios manda, no nos hace gracia el hecho de que un paparulo juegue de esa forma. Por lo que cambiamos de modo de juego o esperamos a que se vaya y luego volvemos a intentarlo. Pero este tipo de perfil de Ra-Ta As-que-rosa sigue ahí firme como rulo de estatua y al parecer no piensa cambiar de juego. Lo que hace que a los ancianos nos terminemos cansando de esas chiquilinadas. Somos gente grande y estos con sus complejos de cho.ta chica vienen a hacerse los salvajes dentro de un jueguito, PORFAVOR!!. Y luego andan gritando a los cuatro vientos sus proezas "Ayy mira que bueno que soy!!!...me hice un 360 no scope y ademas un super flip reset junto con un rollback flip y master silint shot flip con doble touch". Entonces, dicho esto, nos damos cuenta del deterioro mental que estos individuos padecen. Por lo tanto... "BENDITOS SEAN LOS BOTS". Por mas muerto que esté el pvp, se puede seguir jugando con bots y nosotros los ancianos, la pasamos de maravillas!!. Es por este motivo que a día de hoy, siendo el año 2024 damos las gracias a la desarrolladora por encargarse de los preciados bots para que este juego pueda seguir existiendo hasta el cansancio definitivo. SERA JUSTICIA!!!! GRACIAS!!!!!
I dont get it this game has so few number of players and only one server had game, most of the lobby was bots. You make 3 games for 3 different maps? Just mash them up into one. I should have checked the player count. Don't buy it.
game is dead but there are still bots to keep you company and the bots are not that bad and the game provides good world war 1 immersion. If you play this game for the atmosphere you will enjoy it even if you are fighting bots.
A good game, but it should just be rolled into Verdun at this point. Never understood why this had to be its own game when it seems to be the exact same thing as Verdun under the hood. It just ended up dividing players and leaving Tannenberg with a tiny playerbase. Even back when it launched you'd be hard-pressed to find a full match.
