Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Another EA cash grab. More microtransactions than gameplay. Some of the worst player control in gaming. By far the stuttery-est, janky-est game in the modern century. A 4k capable rig can't smooth out these EA nightmares. I paid $6, this should have been free. Shame on you EA! Shame!
EA has completely abandoned this game. There is no technical support, they do not respond to their own forums and now they have a problem with leader boards and tournament scores not even being logged - no response... I've had issues playing online with friends with constant "disconnected" issues and can't even have a private match with a friend one day and fine the next but someone else crashes the game. They fired the creators long ago and simply don't care about this game. There are maybe 175 people left playing online or otherwise total peak according to steamdb, info at time of this post and dropped from 300 after this last error. If you choose to play without online features, then this game is okay for single player, who like to just play golf. I have a lot of hours logged, but I spent most of that time just trying to play with friends - and failing. Buy it for 10 bucks or less.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 28: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

230 hours in and you're not recommending the game? WHAT?! Well, I was 100 hours in before EA added the battlepass and about another 80 hours in before they added the paid (with real money) XP boosts and nerfed XP gains in career mode. The game itself is ok. Just ok. If you want a really good golf game, PGA Tour 2k23 or 2k21 are far superior, though not without their own issues. There I was, like a fool, thinking that EA weren't still a bunch of scummy ♥♥♥♥♥. Ahh well.
I'm over 50 years old and have played golf games since the Commodore 64 Leaderboard golf. I'm looking to play GOLF, not unlock the ability to use a putter off the green. I want control of my golf bag, I don't need to unlock a flop shot, etc. Just... let me play golf. With my friends. That's it. Period. I don't need to unlock a new ball, I don't need to build a skill. I just.... WANT TO PLAY GOLF! Once you understand that EA's approach is just like Battlefiled unlocks with different names... I guess it's okay.
Classic EA doing CLASSIC EA ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Might be a halfway fun game if they didnt lock everything behind arbitrary grinds or paywalls, and believe me its all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pay to win, pay to level, pay to play basically. I swear the game just decides your gonna have a bad shot even if you hit ALL THE SAEM PARAMETERS INCLUDING YOUR SWING BEING IDENTICAL. IT'll still throw you're ♥♥♥♥ in the water on the last hit of a challenge you've nailed every time. ♥♥♥♥ EA and their pay to win micro transaction ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, no one will have any sympathy when this bogus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ company goes out of business.
I've been playing golf games my entire life. The swing mechanic is super trash; very inaccurate. I can only play this using the 3 click method, which isn't as fun (subjective). Online is non existent, no one is playing it.
Mostly enjoyable. Not as good as the old school Tiger Woods games but as close to them as we've had for years. However, whichever monster decided career mode needed to be constantly Online deserves to burn in the fires of hell. What a terrible call. Absolutely no need for career mode to require a connection to the EA servers.
In the short time I've played it (6 hours as of this review) I'm overall impressed with this game. Professional golf games on PC are slim pickings these days and having suffered through years of playing HB Studios' "The Golf Club," which I actually came to enjoy (perhaps from Stockholm Syndrome), I decided it was time for a change especially after 2K Games basically killed TGC's servers out of sheer greed. Well EA, as a company, isn't a saint but you know what? They keep their online games running far longer and for the seven dollars I paid for this game I'm not going to worry about it either. Graphically the game is beautiful as far as environments go. The scenery looks photorealistic and the presentation feels like watching an actual broadcast. Player characters have an uncanny valley quality to them but that's not a big deal to me (and gives me a chuckle when my golfing facsimile waves to the crowd). Overall I'm pleased the game runs well on my aging PC (Intel i7 4770K with a 1070ti) @ 2K graphics. I'm really enjoying the career mode / character progression the game comes with. As you play your player character earns XP and you can level up your stats for better power/accuracy/control. This progression also ties into EA Sports' ubiquitous online microtransaction treadmill for unlocking cosmetics and XP boosts for your character but this can be completely ignored if you have no interest in it. However the character progression is something I can see motivating me to keep coming back. Controls are solid overall and what I expect from a modern golfing game (especially compared to HB studios' insistence on a "simulator" style swing system and zero visualization for putting). That said I don't know if it's me but the game is extremely challenging. Some courses are brutal. Putting has been a challenge for me. I can't even imagine going up against some of the tougher AI opponents; I can't even make it out of the amateur league 🤣 Either way for 7 bucks I feel like I got my money's worth and I'm looking forward to learning the ropes and getting better.
Underneath all of the EA garbage is a solid and challenging golf game that is genuinely quite good. Unfortunately everything else is just bad. The character creator, if you can even call it that, is shockingly poor with extremely limited customisation. The menus just look cheap and thrown together. Online play is abysmal with only 3 active "public" games available and the options are set to the harder end of the spectrum making it not fun and people just leaving because they hit a terrible shot. Where's the DLSS/FSR? This is a demanding game to run at max settings and these are missing, seriously? Always online, EA launcher etc etc. I cannot recommend this, not for how much it costs. I subbed to EAPlay for a month to try this out i am glad i didn't outright buy it.
Was a good game but EA abandoned it in April 24. Expected i guess. Not buying anything EA anymore, money grabbing berks.
