Нормальний симулятор ходіння,польска БлуберТім не робить поганих ігор,з того що я грав і то що бачив,всі їхні ігри це хороші якісні проєкти,не шедеври і не повне г....о,просто середні нормальні ігри...От саме ця гра, вона вже не нова,але графіка дуже хороша,сучасна,багато нових ігор такого типу виглядають гірше,за всю гру я не зустрів жодного багу чи недоліку,все ідеально,а ще тут адекватна ціна 20 грн...

The paid bot reviews are out in full force because they are getting ready to release Layers of Fear 3 (there was a second one?). I can’t tell you how sick I am of reading GPT-generated slop about “tight gameplay loops” or the parroted lines about how “X is not just about Y - it’s also about Z!” on every mid game. It’s a walking simulator with jump scares. It was never anything more than that and it’s actually aged pretty poorly. The story is more “creepy” than it is “scary”, in an immature way. It’s not Silent Hill type horror, it’s more like a forgettable teen horror movie - crappy off-shelf stuff that’s maybe good for an evening of entertainment if you have absolutely nothing else going for you. I recall getting headaches trudging through all the noisy environments.

Comparing this game and the 2023 version of the game, I would say this one is better in my opinion, considering it feels more horror, despite being a walking simulator. It is another P.T type of clone for anyone that enjoys these types of genre. I do think the price fits well for this game considering there is replayability for multiple endings, and is definitely one of Bloober's earliest works and a decent one at least.

Layers of Fear (2016) - страх нудьги Bloober Team з самого початку хотіли стати "Blumhouse від ігрової індустрії" > тобто штампувати хорори швидко, дешево і регулярно. І Layers of Fear став їхнім першим великим кроком у цьому напрямку. Натхненням послужили Silent Hill і знаменитий PT, демо нереалізованого продовження від Кодзіми. Гра справді зробила Bloober Team відомими і повністю змінила напрямок студії на хорори. А у 2023 році вони навіть зробили ремейк власної гри на Unreal Engine 5, бо чому б і ні. Але от у чому проблема: гра це дуже дивний хорор. Непогана історія, непоганий інтер'єр і візуал, але по факту найдешевший звичайний хорор що намагається лякати кричалками, ляльками і привидом який навіть не вбиває. Трохи в нерозумінні за що її так нахвалили, посередній проект. Можливо на той час пугалки ще працювали, але зараз це виглядає занадто банально. Платина - окремий вид садо-мазо. Замислився про власний топ найнуднішого процесу вибивання платини і ця гра претендує мінімум на топ три, а можливо і на золото. В цілому звичайна бродилка-пугалка на один раз.

The story is told in a good way through the house itself, as the rooms and surroundings keep shifting and changing, along with the strange events happening around you. The sound design is also very good, with quiet music, strange noises, and distant voices making the game tense most of the time. The graphics look really nice and match the dark horror style of the game. The game is mostly linear, so there is not much exploration, but each area still adds more to the story. There are only a few puzzles, so the main focus is walking through the house and seeing what changes next. There are also a few performance problems in some parts where the game slows down a little. Overall, Layers of Fear is a strong horror game with a creepy atmosphere, good story pacing, and impressive visuals. The slow beginning and simple gameplay may not appeal to everyone, and the small technical problems are noticeable at times. Still, the game keeps a dark and uneasy mood from start to finish.
