S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope

i really love this dlc

Great DLC with many areas from the original STALKER trilogy, but some very frustrating decisions were made. The Miracle Machine fight (duty) is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horrid, also doesn't allow saves anywhere during it, a big waste of time and arbitrary difficulty. The CNPP region is haunted by the Flare almost anywhere you go, very annoying and keeps you from freely exploring and appreciating the design. I don't know what possessed them to spawn 3 elemental poltergeists in the Unit 1 reactor room, again, keeps your from appreciating the historical meaning of that room and taking it in. The Mavka boss fight is the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible design I've seen in a game, if she bodyshots you with the sniper it takes 80% of your HP instantly, if she catches you with the AK you're instantly dead, if she (RNG btw) headshots you with the sniper you are also instantly dead. No saves inbetween, gotta restart the entire thing. Shooting at her or at her light also is very inconsistent, sometimes she will peek out, you shoot her and she will oneshot you anyway. Ugh.

Чудове доповнення, але є 3 великі проблеми! (Принаймні, граючи за «Долг»!) 1. Ви не можете повернути Бар. 2. Під час проходження DLC за Долг не видають екзоскелет Долгу навіть наприкінці сюжету. 3. В екзоскелеті Долгу неможливо бігати!

This is one of the best DLCs i have ever played. Excellent. If you enjoy STALKER 2, this is a no- brainer. Being able to visit the CNPP again was amazing.
