Reviews
The gameplay, the setting of the game and the characters are awesome. The game is, however, filled with a lot of bugs - to the point that it's practically impossible to play on the "Hard" setting (without saving, etc). I had a lot of fun and got my <2 EUR worth out of it, so I am still recommending it if you like this type of games.
[/olist]
[/olist]

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Completed the campaign, it took 17 hours. It has some silly bugs. For example it was very frustrating when I did a quest to find an epic weapon and then spent resources fully upgrading it, but for some reason no soldier can shoot with this rifle (Yes, it had the right ammo and it was loaded). The worse thing about this game is that it's filled with Russian propaganda. The Soviet is portrayed as a beautiful magical place with righteous leaders, when in fact Stalin and the communists was the second worse thing to the nazis..

This is not exactly Commandos or Desperados, it just reminds me a lot of them. But the combat is little bit different. You cannot pause the game to plan the actions, just slow down time. More focus is on shooting, although you can get very far, just by stealthing through the levels. It was still a lot of fun systematically clearing the levels, planning how to kill all the germans and using every tool at my disposal.
TL;DR I strongly suggest this game. It's very fun. My complaints is that the game feels short and there's some glitches to be aware of. This is a good game and I strongly suggest buying it. I have just completed the game and I plan to go on to buy the DLC. Very fun, small unit guerilla tactical experience with multiple ways to approach the missions, and it's NOT an ideological pro-communism dogmatic experience. Also you're killing Nazis. It's strongly history inspired. The game is taking control and slowly building a team of guerilla fighters to undermine the Nazi German invasion of Russia during World War 1. It's small unit tactics and heavily stealth based (But you can, unless a specific mission says you can't, go in guns blazing at any point.) with very minor resource and morale management mechanics. You build up your base camp to help give you weapons, medical supplies, food, etc. You play as the grizzled badass Zorin and built up a team of fellow badasses of all stripes to go slaughter the invaders and help the Red Army indirectly. Zorin is required on every mission and is your primary stealth fighter with additional pistol and rifle potential. You have a mix and match of your "comrades" to complete your team as seen fit. Every mission you fight, you will be outnumbered and outgunned, so fighting smart is strongly suggested. Resource management isn't a significant issue outside of ammunition. Easy difficulty is still difficult enough that you can't be stupid but you'll feel like a superhero. You'll feel the intense pressure to seek every possible advantage you can on Hard difficulty. You usually have 3 characters per mission, the rest lounge and do base stuff. The Story is fine. It's not going to win any awards. Dialogue is passable. Characterization is there, though the characters themselves are largely the archetypes they exhibit. The Red Army is getting pushed back hard. Commander Zorin was captured. Then he uncaptures himself and decides to stay in Ukraine (The Nazi's are marching onto Moscow) and continue to make life hard for the German War Machine. They do a wonderful job of always making sure to present the Germans as serious, battle hardened foes who are very dangerous. A way they help do that is the German soldiers are always the strongest, and the weakest are local collaborator militia. You fight multiple "villains" who take center briefly. The game also provides you historically influenced updates on how the rest of the war is going in the form of rumors. They make it clear that the Soviet Union is struggling at the moment the game takes place. But the biggest details is: Your forces are not fighting the main German Army, The Red Army is, you are sabotaging them through assassinations and sabotage to help give the Red Army an edge, however small. They also do make a distinction, though small, between the SS Nazi's and the German Army itself. For me the best part of how they portray the story is that while there's individual enemies who are noted, such as the dangerous SS Zobel, but at the end of the day, your foe isn't any individual it's the German War Machine as a whole. While you're playing as a shamelessly patriotic soldiers of the Soviet Union the game doesn't get ideological at all. The game focuses on the martial and human elements, not ideological. Nazi's are cruel opponents and they're hunting guerillas in their backline. Your battle with the Germany is because you're being invaded, that's it. They also mention the Finnish-Russo War (Winter War), the Russian Civil War, and the Sino-Russian War. Funnily enough I don't recall anyone mentioning Stalin or Hitler during the entire game. Maybe they do and I didn't spot it. But while in the game you're on the side of communist, you're not making any pro-communism arguments and the only real time "Aryan Superiority" is mentioned, it's as a snide insult to a Nazi who is holding a child as a hostage. My criticisms: I'll say the obvious. There's glitches to this game. Your path finding can be an issue, so pay attention. Sometimes commands don't go through. Save often. Use the space bar to slow time down so you can control the flow better. On the later prison level I got a dialogue bubble from my blonde pistol shooting lady that was just placeholder text. These issues aren't game breaking, just tedious and requires you to pay attention because it'll happen at the worst moments. My other complaint is that the game weirdly enough feels short. The finish of the game feels more like the halfway point. Don't get me wrong, it's a glorious mission. But the game feels like it ends abruptly. It had just turned winter. I get called a hero and recognized by Moscow, but I found myself feeling: "But Leningrad is still going on. Moscow is rumored to still be under siege. I dealt with an immediate concern, but the invasion is still going strong." Also you only have 100% of your roster late into the game. Also, once you beat the game, that's that. You can either put it down or start a new playthrough. But from what I read this complaint gets addressed by the convenient DLC at an affordable price of 9.99USD. As a shamelessly pro-capitalist American, I am glad to have made Comrade Stalin proud.
