Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Honestly I'm pretty disappointed with the game. First off Grand Ages: Medieval and Grand ages: Rome aren't even in the same gaming genre. GA: Rome was a city builder with some depth and character. Not my favourite game but pretty solid. GA: Medieval is an empire building trade sim and a pretty tacky one at that. It is a SUPER basic, minimal effort, yet confining time sync for anyone that's literally got ♥♥♥♥ all else to play. Most 10 year olds could thrive on the first play through and be bored to tears within about five - ten minutes. It is that basic. The economic system consists of roughly a dozen items, which for me is bloody boring and gaining a positive net income is a simple as creating demand through production in certain cities and then placing the raw production elsewhere to generate the sales. If you did have to place the production yourself it would be a idler. For comparison, Patrician III was equivalent to an entire mammal, think elephant, primate, ect. There's many different elements to it that make it a full and complete game. GA: Medieval, on the other hand has, comparatively, even less depth and complexity to it than a single celled organism. You don't even get the freedom of the ocean, you're confined to pathways between towns and cities on a land locked and frankly an ugly ass map. Which is why I mentioned confining previously. Patrician III's map ACTUALLY looked better too and it's 20+ years GA:M's senior now. Combat is one unit at a time too. Slow, unimaginative and may as well be redundant. Should rebrand themselves from Grand Ages to grand dissapointment. One of the worst games/sequals I've ever played. I am so glad I got it on sale because it's not even worth one single tenth of the full asking price. I hope they don't get another sale.
