Are capitalists the real bad guys????? So here I am, trying to rule Tropico, thinking, "Yeah, let’s give my citizens free homes, food, and healthcare." Then... hold up! My popularity with the communist faction is skyrocketing. Wait a minute—they’re the bad guys, right? Right?!?! Okay, I know what to do... I'll charge people for lunch and tax them for going to church. That'll make me a true capitalist! ...Hold on, that feels kind of harsh. Hmm, maybe if I give farmers agricultural subsidies to grow more food and make sure there's plenty for everyone to buy? Nope. Too much supply means lower prices. That’s bad for capitalism. Alright, tax the rich! They’ve got tons of money, and I can fund programs to help the people. Wait, no, that's anti-capitalist too... more wealth redistribution? Ugh. Okay, free cars for everyone! ...Oh, but that's too socialist, right? Maybe I should focus on public transportation instead... WHAT?! The hippies are actually happy now? And don’t get me started on Social Security. That’s basically communist, right? So what can I do to prove I’m a true-red, white, blue and capitalist American and still win this game?! Welcome to the city builder genre. Every game shows you how good leftist policies are, and how much the billionaires hate us for lobbying against them. Tropico is satirical and is not meant to be taken seriously. It doesn't misunderstand communism, capitalism, or any of the other movements in the game - it lampoons them. That’s kind of its humor. It pokes fun at all factions, exaggerated their beliefs to the point of comedy, and doesn’t pick favorites. If you want a more grounded take on class systems and how they relate to political movements in a game, try playing something like Victoria 3. But seriously… are we the baddies?? 10/10

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I love being a dictator and violating human rights for my own personal benefit.
这游戏我玩了很久,绝对不只显示的27.2小时,但是官方删除了中文,这是难以理解的。所以我也删除好评
... Because Democracy basically means... government by the people, of the people, for the people... but the people are retarded.
Kalypso Media Digital
移除了简体中文,开发商脑子让驴踢了。
怎么竖版封面只有男的
Built my entire dynasty with illegitimate children from multiple wives, while using a militaristic stance with foreigners and a religious dogma to brainwash my people into loving me. While also keeping my people poor enough to work forever, but not too poor so they rebel against me. 10/10 Would create America in Tropico again.
