This is my first game in the franchise and I'm absolutely loving it. Most city builders feel like more of the same, but Tropico 3 is different. You guys have to try this. Highly recommended, 8.5/10!

Not a bad game just really bland. The core gameplay loop lacks player agency and does not feel very engaging. The game is also not very forthcoming with information. All the infos you need to actually make decisions are hidden in various submenus and are hard to access. Clicking through them everytime you want to see how your tropical paradise is doing gets tedious quickly. Supposedly, the DLC [i]Absolute Power[/i] makes the game more interesting and varied. I wouldn't know though because it is unplayable and keeps crashing on start with none of the recommended fixes working at all.

Fan depuis le premier épisode, la progression est conséquente depuis le premier épisode de la saga. Les graphismes sont superbes et les musiques latines qui accompagnent le titre sont très réussies. Le jeu nous propulse dans la peau d'un dictateur et nous propose de tenter de relever un grand nombre de défis. Une fois les rouages assimilés on tente de satisfaire la population de notre île afin de rester le plus longtemps au pouvoir et atteindre les objectifs fixés. Au final le jeu est agréable et on a plaisir à jouer au "Présidente". Si vous êtes à la recherche d'un jeu de gestion exotique ne cherchez pas plus loin. As a fan since the first installment, I can attest to the significant progress made since the beginning of the saga. The graphics are superb, and the Latin music accompanying the game is excellent. The game puts us in the shoes of a dictator and challenges us to overcome numerous obstacles. Once you've grasped the mechanics, you try to keep your island's population happy in order to remain in power as long as possible and achieve your objectives. Ultimately, the game is enjoyable, and playing "President" is a pleasure. If you're looking for an exotic management game, look no further.
