Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
BEING A TEENAGER SUCKS. So we made a videogame about it.
Hey remember when your parents, your friends, and society at large all conspired to make you feel ugly, lazy, stupid, and unloved despite the brilliant human spirit contained within you? No? Well, allow us to refresh your memory via the timeless medium of a slice-of-life role-playing game!
In Consume Me, you take on the role of Jenny, young, in love, and entering her final year of high school. Make meticulous scheduling decisions to maximize your glow-up! Solve the puzzle game of dieting! Evade distractions as you pursue scholarly success! Do chores to get money from mom at a rate much lower than minimum wage!
Can you win the heart of the boy of your dreams? Can you hold on to it? Can you chart a course towards a sustainable future? Can you fit just one more TODO goal on your plate, or is it already full to bursting? Most importantly, does any of this matter--either in the game, or in a broader sense? I don't have time to spoil the story here, so I'll just give you a free tip: if you have the spare money, buy some coffee at the corner store and drink it for an extra free-time unit.
A darkly funny coming-of-age story: You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll get a little hungry, sometimes all at the same time! Sorry about that!
Every meal a puzzle: Eat your lunch, but be careful not too eat too much. Also, try not to eat too little either. Throw any food you don't want to the dog. It's fine, she's not on a diet!
Gripping strategic decision making: A limited amount of time and an unlimited number of things to do!? This classic combination introduces the ultimate strategic question: How should you be spending your time? It's up to you to answer this question...every day of your life!
Obtain powerful equipment: Choose from a selection of garments that help you dress for success. But be warned, the armor of this world degrades after a mere single day of use...until you renew it via that ancient ritual known only as "laundry."
Over 13 possible endings: Most of them bad!

For what it's trying to do I think this is a nearly flawless game. I really love time management games and mingame collections and this cuts out all that extra fluff games with them usually has and gets right to it. I've also never played a video game memoir before and wish there was more like it. Not for everyone, but definitely for me.
Consume Me is a very unique game that takes life sims and throws in some time management (stressful as hell) and puzzle elements and rolls it all up into a nice small autobiographical game. First 4 chapters I really liked. I do think chapter 5 kind of drops the ball a little. Some spoilers below though I try to refrain where I can. The jesus stuff kind of just comes out of nowhere and it expects you to use it as a crutch which just feels like the opposite effort the previous 4 chapters have you go through. Then in the end it all doesn't matter actually but again that's what the person went through personally from what I understand. It loses that thing that makes the game special by being too personal in the end. Still a good game overall but something I was thinking is a very high 8/10 I'm gonna say is a solid 7/10. Cool game and I'm glad to have learned about it from a recent issue of pcgamer (along with Titanium Court). Would recommend if you want to experience something fresh.

I won't lie, the way I couldn't stop playing this game was crazy! It wasn't only fun to play and think what to do, but also absolutely relatable The story felt deep and personal, it's visible that it was made with love and passion and I can't help but recommend it to everyone!! I played it on the steam deck and all the controls worked fine and well:)
This game is brilliant. From the moment you step in, you know you're going to watch the story of a girl who is going to crash and burn but as soon as you get the mechanics, you want to min-max every part of it. Obviously the main character Jenny has an eating disorder and needs to work through it. But also, I'll be damned if I go over my bites count! It's so well designed. I also like the scoring system at the end and how it is reflected in the ending. Not going to spoil anything but it was a great message. I stayed up way too late (in the game and in real life) to finish this game so please don't let me suffer in vain. Buy this game and suffer with me.
such an amazing way to capture the story of the game's creator, it felt like i really was in jenny's shoes!
真喜欢这个游戏!!希望更多人可以看到这个精美可爱的满满心血的小艺术品😭❤️
Loved it :) Would love more in terms of chapter select, or skip dialog for achievement hunting, but I enjoyed the narrative a lot.
