Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Super cute anime RPG. The combat system makes turn based combat actually seem a bit interesting and some of the characters really liven up the story a good bit. Should keep you busy for a while if you enjoy JRPGs.
## 🎮 Megadimension Neptunia VII *Megadimension Neptunia VII* is where the series takes a massive, undeniable leap forward. The jump in production value is incredible; everything from the graphics to the overall presentation feels vastly improved and polished compared to the *Re;Birth* games. It feels like a true, high-quality next-gen JRPG. But the absolute standout feature of this game is the soundtrack, which is just pure, god-tier ear candy. The music builds the hype perfectly from the very beginning: the theme **Uranus** plays during that massive dragon boss early on – which reminds me of a Final Fantasy enemy called Drake. Uranus theme is setting a wild, high-stakes vibe right out of the gate. And later, when **Never give up** finally drops during the True Final Boss, it is an absolute masterpiece of a climax. With its multi-dimensional storyline, the introduction of Uzume, and those epic Next Forms, the game delivers on every front. The leap in quality combined with that unforgettable music makes it a phenomenal experience from start to finish. **Final verdict:** *Megadimension Neptunia VII* represents the absolute peak of Neptunia's production value. With a massive jump in quality and a soundtrack that delivers some of the best boss hype in gaming history, it’s an unforgettable ride.

This game was My Childhood. I absolutly love this game and would TELL others to buy and play it.
Perfectly mediocre, if slightly disappointing Neptunia game that's best to quit shortly after beating the true ending
Megadimension Neptunia VII caught me completely off guard — I went in expecting a shallow anime game and came out genuinely emotional when the credits rolled. The three-arc story structure keeps things fresh, and the balance between goofy fourth-wall-breaking humor and surprisingly dark narrative moments is pulled off better than I ever expected. The combat system has real depth with its combo chaining and positioning, even if the Neplunker platforming sections feel wildly out of place in a turn-based JRPG. Uzume is a fantastic new character and the soundtrack alone is worth the price of admission. Just be warned: follow a guide if you want the true ending, because the missable requirements are brutally unforgiving and you will not find them naturally.
I think you need to be an extremely huge weeb to understand this. Or really into the rather interesting combat. I just couldn't get over the story, characters and grind.
Gud gaem
Megadimension Neptunia VII, developed by Idea Factory and Compile Heart and published by Idea Factory International, stands as one of the most fully realized entries in the Hyperdimension Neptunia series, taking the franchise’s familiar formula and expanding it in both scope and structure. While it retains the series’ trademark mix of anime aesthetics, industry satire, and character-driven storytelling, it approaches these elements with a greater sense of ambition. Rather than feeling like a simple iteration, the game attempts to build a more layered experience, presenting a narrative that unfolds across multiple arcs and dimensions, each with its own tone and thematic focus. The story is divided into distinct segments that gradually build toward a larger, interconnected narrative. It begins in a darker, more desperate setting than what fans might expect, introducing a version of Gamindustri that feels broken and unstable. As the plot progresses, it shifts between lighter, comedic moments and more serious developments, often blending the two in ways that are uniquely characteristic of the series. The writing embraces its self-aware nature, frequently breaking the fourth wall and referencing gaming culture, but it also explores themes such as identity, responsibility, and the consequences of unchecked power. This duality gives the story a surprising amount of depth, though the constant tonal shifts can occasionally feel uneven. Combat is one of the areas where Megadimension Neptunia VII shows clear improvement over earlier entries. Battles take place in small arenas where characters can move freely before attacking, allowing for positioning strategies that influence the effectiveness of abilities. This adds a layer of tactical consideration that goes beyond traditional turn-based systems. Players can customize attack combinations, manage resource gauges, and trigger transformations that enhance both power and visual spectacle. The system is flexible and engaging, particularly during more challenging encounters, but it does not evolve dramatically over time. As a result, while combat remains enjoyable, it can start to feel repetitive during the later stages of the game. Beyond combat, the game offers a variety of optional content that helps flesh out the experience. Side quests, hidden bosses, and additional character interactions provide incentives to explore beyond the main storyline. These elements contribute to the game’s overall length and give players opportunities to further develop their party and experiment with different strategies. However, not all of this content feels equally meaningful, and some of it can come across as filler rather than essential additions to the experience. Visually, the game represents a noticeable step forward for the series, particularly in its character presentation. The cast is brought to life through vibrant designs, expressive animations, and strong voice performances that reinforce their personalities. The charm of the characters is one of the game’s greatest strengths, and much of the enjoyment comes from their interactions and development. In contrast, the environments—especially dungeons—lack the same level of creativity, often relying on repetitive layouts and limited visual variety. This imbalance between character design and world design is one of the more persistent issues throughout the experience. Dialogue plays a significant role in shaping the game’s identity, with lengthy conversations that delve into both comedic exchanges and narrative progression. The humor is heavily rooted in gaming references and exaggerated character traits, which can be highly entertaining for fans of the genre. At the same time, the sheer volume of dialogue can slow the pacing, particularly in sections where the story takes a back seat to extended banter. This may not appeal to all players, especially those who prefer a more streamlined narrative experience. Despite its shortcomings, Megadimension Neptunia VII succeeds in delivering a cohesive and engaging JRPG that builds on the strengths of its predecessors. It offers a longer and more ambitious story, improved combat mechanics, and a cast of characters that remain consistently entertaining. While it does not fully overcome issues such as repetitive environments and pacing inconsistencies, it demonstrates a clear effort to refine and expand the series’ formula. In the end, Megadimension Neptunia VII is a strong entry that captures the essence of what makes the franchise appealing while pushing it forward in meaningful ways. It may not appeal to everyone, particularly those unfamiliar with its style or humor, but for fans of character-driven RPGs and meta storytelling, it provides a satisfying and memorable experience.
