Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 11 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I loved my time with the original Brigandine for the PS1, but this one falls woefully short. The first thing I noticed was the writing - bland and generic, with minimalist storytelling and contradictory character arcs. Had me mashing the 'skip' button within the first hour because it was just that bad. I would have been content with just the gameplay, until I had my first run in with Rudo Marco. He's overwhelmingly overpowered, and obviously some developer's favorite power-fantasy unit made manifest. I'm not talking like Zemeckis from the first one. No, this dude is Zemeckis on steroids. Absurdly high base strength, unmatched accuracy modifiers, and an ultimate, high-damage nuke that requires zero targeting or risk. He hits harder than almost any other unit, easily breaking the 400 damage mark (nearing 500 on a critical hit). So, you either pick him, or you get to enjoy him one-to-two shotting everything you have when he inevitably shows up. Had a little fun. IDK, the music was pretty good. 5/10, ended in regret.

Played for 35 hours on Switch then found out the Steam version has "Creative Mode" so I bought the game again. Must really have enjoyed it then
The game has its moments, but it's pretty boring in my opinion, and its entirely ment to be played on steamdeck. Keyboard controls are abismal.
Came here because everyone in the Brigandine Abyss comments was saying this is better. Clearly they're blinded by their rose tinted glasses, sadly I went over the 2 hour mark so can't refund it. Here's the good points of this game: 1. The characters chat to each other when you're going into combat. 2. The demon is a hot girl and can teleport things. Okay with that out of the way here's what's bad about this game: 1. There's no mercenary heroes, so if you don't like the heroes the game gives you too bad. 2. You start the campaign with one seventh of the map already conquered. Which SUCKS! most of my regions could be attacked on multiple fronts, my units were all over the place, nobody was in a base that had particularly useful units. It's like taking over a campaign of brigandine abyss halfway through but the person who played it before you was ♥♥♥♥. 3. The maps SUCK, they clearly didn't play test them and while the abyss maps are wildly varied in design because every nation is different races and different cultures. This game every map is either: Water. Forest. Or forest with water. 4. Yes there's technically more options for monsters but either you're going: Golems/dragons up front, centaurs/demons behind them, and copious elementals. Or you're playing sub-optimally on purpose. There's 3 to 5. viable monsters. 6. The artstyle looks like ♥♥♥♥ compared to abyss! Half the time you can barely make out what the characters are supposed to be wearing. 7. AND THE BIGGEST ONE! Turn order is arbitrarily ♥♥♥♥♥♥! I really don't know why anyone thinks this game is better than abyss, are you kidding!? You have to spend the first 5 turns rearranging units because there's always one guy out of place on the B squad but sadly it's the C squad's turn, so gotta wait until next turn and hope the enemy doesn't move. If you played Abyss like I did and was wondering why there's a million runersia vets downvoting it, it's just nostalgia! DO NOT BUY THIS ♥♥♥♥ GAME! Abyss is much better!
I played this game again after trying Brigandine Abyss on PS5, and that game was an absolute joke. Runersia feels like the most complete modern Brigandine experience and I don't know why Abyss pretty much devolved into the trash that it is by cutting everything. If you're torn between the two games, get Runersia instead. You'll have a better experience with it.
Picked this game up on a whim. I enjoy this significantly more than I was expecting. Part army manager, part creature collector, part tactical rpg. If these are troupes you enjoy, this game is worth a try.
i just played coz i played brigandine in PS 1
This game is very nostalgic for me. I loved playing Brigandine as a kid and I'm happy to see more games come out.
