Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.78/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a fine game. Nothing groundbreaking, but no less of a good time. As a remake of a SNES game it is quite faithful. The music is superb, and the visuals are a feast for the eyes. It feels like watching an old Saturday morning cartoon you've never heard of before. For the sake of fairness, I should talk about the rough edges. The English voice acting does not meet modern standards, though how bad that actually is will vary from person to person. The camera is annoying to work with, a symptom of adapting a game with top-down view and small arenas. That said, the game is still fun. While not as advanced as a Devil May Cry or Bayonetta game, it's still incredibly satisfying to beat up enemies as you gain a handle of the controls.
Allow me to nerd out a bit. We all know how most of recent Square Enix remakes, reboots, re-ports are just a filthy cash grabs with no soul, surprisingly this game feels like one of those rare exceptions. It's very fun, innovative and addictive, even nicely optimized. There's a lot to adore so I will only mention my favorite aspect. It's very faithful to source material however unlike in the original game from 1995, 24 different classes were offering just different skill sets and that's it, here classes plays different roles like DPS, tanker, healer or support. With "chain skills" passives you get through the game you can customize characters. Example turning your DPS into a tank, tank into support, even mess around and turn whole team into DPS if you like it. This system offers a lot of variety making this game not boring even after a couple of playthroughs. 3 different story lines (not so much different whatsoever) also adds to this variety I admire. Music was already fantastic in the original, remake recreated it with a full orchestra making it more beautiful. The bad things, yet not essentially. My first playthrough was on Hard difficulty and game was still super easy because enemies have very predictable attack indicators. Expert difficultly is the same but every enemy is a damage sponge and deals unholy amount of damage so you have to heal non-stop if you mess up. Brand new content of the remake - post game is quite uninspiring. Feels very rushed because 95% of the content is just reused from the main game. However it was a nice reference to the Heroes Of Mana which was the prequel game and it's still better than nothing. Lastly partner AI is very silly and clueless at times. Something like FFXII gambit system would work amazingly in this game, even if we already get a bit more AI customizability than the 1995 release had. Overall I very highly recommend this game to everyone, especially those who played the original. This game feels like it was made by Seiken Densetsu fan for the Seiken Densetsu fans. Just amazing.
i looooooove it! best game i have played in a min, can't wait for the new one!!! yipeee!!
