We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Actual Peak Game and stands at least with the SNES: Pros -Actually fixes game breaking bugs -Actually adds additional content -Actually improves graphics and environmental designs -No major censorship controversy and attractive characters -Offers option for music from original with me actually sometimes mixing up which is which -Difficulty settings (not all the most balanced but options are there, hard is sweet spot and not too hard) -New boss attacks/patterns are mostly very interesting and allow opportunities to dodge (caveat is some timed bars suck tho) Cons -Expert and No Future are nigh unplayable if you don't farm the proper class 1 equipment and/or ??? seeds on a previous file before starting -Teammates die very easy and AI sucks, though if they were too good it might make the game way easier I'm a bit shocked honestly, an actual good remake from Squeenix that keeps what worked and the actual additions/changes generally enhance the experience? If only they locked in like this every release

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.78/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Trials of Mana! Or as Charlotte says: "Twials of Mwana!" Trials of Mana is a remake of a SNES classic that passed us by here in America. The old game holds up pretty well to this day, and this remake modernizes it perfectly. You never get lost, it's easy to explore, and it's pretty nice to look at albeit full of muddy textures, and bad PC options ( there seems to be no VSync ). The music is great as always, there are a few choice tracks I can think of. As a lover of dragons, and of Flammie, Flammie returns as your companion to ride on. You better believe I am excited to see him/her return for Visions of Mana, and Ramcoh the new dragon cutie to love. As always, it is easy to get sucked into the tight and engaging progression, the dungeons are NEVER too long at just the right length. The game is quite addictive and difficult to put down once you really sink your teeth into it. Don't forget Lil' Cactus, a hidden collectible that gives some great rewards for exploring! It's addictive to level up, get new gear, and experiment with the skills system. The skills are learned by leveling up various stat categories on top of the character's base stats: Strength Points, Stamina Points, Spirit Points, Luck Points, and Intelligence Points. Some skills are only available to certain characters and the classes they can become. The class system is the star of the show in Trials of Mana. Each character can choose a Light path and a Dark path, which has no bearing on the story but it does give you access to a massive amount of total classes if you count all the characters. You have a choice of 2 unique classes per character, one Light, one Dark, then two more, until you reach the ultimate class that seems to be determined by the two major paths you can take down the class tree. There are a total of 4 different classes for each character, plus 2 ultimate classes it looks like. The characters are... mixed. Their stories are actually pretty solid, and the main story is your standard "save the world from great evil" affair. The voiceacting is what really takes time to get used to. This is as cheesy as it comes, people, and you'll either get really sick of it fast, or you get used to it like I do then realize it isn't so bad and full of heart. Some of the performances they do give it their all, and sometimes it just seems like they phone it in so bad it is hilarious! Also... Flammie Flammie Flammie. Flammie? Flammie! *Happy Flammie noises.* Trials of Mana is pretty good, if it wasn't for the weird voiceacting and poor PC options this game would be perfect. But as it is, it's just great and after playing the demo for Visions of Mana I am certainly excited to see what they have in store for this venerable series!

情怀,其实我在SE的系列游戏里最喜欢的是圣剑传说和浪漫传说系列,FF反而可以算得上是不喜欢。
This is a fine game. Nothing groundbreaking, but no less of a good time. As a remake of a SNES game it is quite faithful. The music is superb, and the visuals are a feast for the eyes. It feels like watching an old Saturday morning cartoon you've never heard of before. For the sake of fairness, I should talk about the rough edges. The English voice acting does not meet modern standards, though how bad that actually is will vary from person to person. The camera is annoying to work with, a symptom of adapting a game with top-down view and small arenas. That said, the game is still fun. While not as advanced as a Devil May Cry or Bayonetta game, it's still incredibly satisfying to beat up enemies as you gain a handle of the controls.
100%'d the game and my opinion of the game didn't improve. Let's start with what i think a few of the problems with this remake are coming from: The original... Clearly basking in the success of Seiken Densetsu 2 (What we know as Secret of Mana) the devs were prolly like: let's make a sequel and let's make it bigger! The devs decided they should up the playable character count from 3 to 6. And although i want to commend this choice, i cannot. Mainly because with all the things the game tries to do with these characters, the game suffers from this choice quite a bit. And since the remake uses the same concept, you get a small butterfly effect. Since EACH character has their own story, the game ends up trying to tell a story that is too big for it's own size and due to this the 6 individual stories feel like they are shoehorned together to make a whole, which in the end does not pan out nicely because the goals of the 6 characters do not properly meet up at the end of the game. What seems to not help the story either is that the game seems to suffer from a less then perfect translation, this could be me but i've noticed a few things off about both the english text and voices. The text and English voiceovers match eachother word for word, but i'm going to leave that out of this mention for a bit longer because it doesn't matter with what i'm about to say first. I've had several conversations where the next "objective" is mentioned, not just once, but up to 3 or more times in the timespan of a few lines of dialogue and to me this feels as if the devs/translators are worried we as players would lose track or they think we are stupid or something. What doesn't help either in this regard is that you cannot go for 3 fights without either Faerie or one of your characters making some kind of comment on what your current objective is, over and over and over again to the point where you want to completely turn off the voices altogether. That brings my rant to the English Voiceovers, which are downright horrible in a multitude of places. Certain conversations sound and progress so ackwardly you'd think the voice actors were given ZERO background information on what the scenario of their conversations are about, this leads to ackward tone changes, weird pauses and horrendous punctuation. If it was just that, it wouldn't be so bad, but it gets a tad worse: There is a small cutscene where a couple of faeries are flying away from the mana tree near the start of the game. The Faeries are supposed to sound tired and exhausted, but the sounds i heard would have been more at place behind a closed bedroom door. And no it wasn't just me hearing this, My wife was reading a book and reacted to them as well and said that if she didn't know any better she'd think i was playing an Adult game. The Characters themselves are bit of a mixed bag, i picked Duran as my main character for my first playthrough and it took him less then an hour to piss me off He want's to get stronger so he can defeat a certain enemy, but he doesn't want to put ANY effort into it whatsoever. Then i met Charlotte, my 2nd character, the game claims her to be 15 years old, but talks as if she's still in kindergarten, heck my 4 Year old son has better pronounciation then she does... (i know it's a personality, but i would have done it differently) And last but not least: Angela, owh BOY... Angela is pure fan-service, skimpy clothing and an attitude to match, Multiple mentions on how "sexy" she is in dialogue and what's the first thing she does when i meet her? Abuse her looks to help the party out of a tight spot... Then we get to the following cutscene and here stuff goes wrong some more, where Angela tells her story of how she got there etc (The game even tells you she told EVERY DETAIL) only for Duran to completely IGNORE almost everything of what she's told to berate her for coming from the same kingdom as the Jerk he's chasing, having to have Angela YET AGAIN tell Duran why she's not in her own kingdom anymore... I am not sure if this is the translation, the devs trying to be funny or just a plain plothole that was overlooked, but it wasn't charming. I've got not much to say about the graphics in the game. They fit the style of the game nicely, but i did notice a few tiny clipping issues and sometimes the textures take too long to stream which makes stuff looks blurry and this even happens with the game on an M.2 SSD which is just plain bad... The Combat is a mixed bag too, where in the original (and in Secret of mana) you had to "time" your attacks to maximize damage, Trials of Mana throws that out of the window and lets you spam attack your enemies to death without any penalty whatsoever. The first few bosses were facerolled by pure buttonmashing, didn't even need to do much aside from a dodgeroll here or there. Then in other instances, mobs become damage sponges and it takes way too long to kill them even with magic and summons. Speaking of which, your combat options at the start are quite limited and just plain leveling your characters doesn't help this much. The game hints at you every time that you obtain an elemental that you can use them for a variety of spells, providing you put points into the respective skill. What the game fails to explain is that you have to progress further into the game before you can actually do this. Last but not least is the sound and music, which is a trip down nostalgia alley. I can't really fault the devs for doing the same thing the devs of the original did in the past: Reuse the same music for 2 games, but in this day and age it just feels lazy... Don't get me wrong, i TRIED REALLY HARD to love this game, but in the end i wasn't able to love it as much as i wanted and hoped for, i hope Square does better with Visions of Mana because this game just struck too many nerves...
