Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I used to play the original Trials of Mana fan translation when I was quite a bit younger so I was happy when this one came out and hoped that they stayed fairly consistent to the first one. To my surprise they did and added some new stuff that still fit in the story. The bad: I don't know why they got the people they did to do the English voice acting but it was bad. Specifically Kevin, Angela, and Charlotte are nearly impossible to listen to while also being main characters. They also had some weird choices for the spirits that made very little sense. My solution was to just mute the entire game and listen to my own music. Biggest bad thing for sure. I could have switched to a different language, but then I feel out of the loop. The combat does get somewhat boring if you stay on one character. I would suggest switching between them. If you play hard it is easy but as soon as you move above that setting it becomes insane, not because it gets harder, but because of the amount of time it takes to win a battle. Monsters hit harder and have so much health it isn't even fun. It also scales up until you can't win anymore without tremendous grinding. The AI on companions is somewhat lacking making them act stupid. You level a bit fast and it feels bad when you could go onto the next class change but you haven't gotten any ??? seeds to make the class change items. I didn't like that part much so I always saved those seeds on NewGame+ so I could level up quickly. The Good: You can't just spam the attack unless you are on easy and expect to win. You actually have to have some skills. If you don't want to spend forever fighting you need to learn what your skills do and make a build that fits with your companions. You can switch back to previous classes as well, something missing from the original. They are faithful to the original and do a good job at going from 2d to 3d. It also allowed you to move out of the way from monster attacks which was nice. I think it was a bit much showing the attacks charging but it was nice for bosses who are charging massive attacks. It is nice that you can stop those attacks if you are smart enough. The multiple different endings depending on your main is still a wonderful addition to the game. It makes you want to play through each but it makes the first part very boring by the third time you play. Still, if you made every section different that would be insane. Characters have different interactions depending on who you play as. The added content didn't feel like it dragged the story down. I have seen added content completely destroy stories before but here they did a fairly good job. The added lines were good in that content as well. Every person acts like different people. They are very distinct. It was nice to see that if Duran and Angela are in a party they seem to be dating by the end still. I do feel like other characters should have interactions like that, but they don't which was a disappointment, but it wasn't in the original either so it is fine. Conclusion: It is a good game. I would rate it a 6.74/10. I would recommend it but I wouldn't say to complete it. Playing it a third time is a drag in a lot of ways. Still, overall a good game. Try out the demo if you are feeling conflicted about it and try it out. If it isn't for you then it isn't for you. I do feel like it may not be worth the 40 dollars or whatever they are asking for, a sale would be best before you buy it. Hope this helps!

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.78/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

+ charming graphics + very rich BGs and NPCs + easy to understand combat + very responsive controls + many characters to choose from + multiple endings + nostalgic enemies + cool weapon skins + BGM is based on the classic BGM + good remake based on the classic ( I like remakes in general) + unique characters + mage costumes <3 + chracter costumes in general + need True Queen as playable character
so hot!
+ good job customisation with types to choose from, but very confusing midway + can build good class-mix
but Angela (my first Mainchar) still overpowers everything 9999 times
+ very stable gameplay on 4k and 120 fps with a medicore system +/- very odd choice of story balancing between characters to give a suitable replay experience, not very fond of it because
80% mostly the same things happens with different antagonist partys
- the same npcs sometimes (over and over) - some basic storytelling - enforced replay ability - not much QoL in terms of dungeon travelling in the beginning (not much better later) - please for Gods sake!! dont give Charlotte such a weird irritating english text translation. In japanese she doesnt sound like this! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!! Dont feed the ppl wrong impressions about character, that garantuees the englisch voices to go wrong (which i wont ever hear in my whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ life!!!) - the horrible english text translation (somehow i should just turn it off) - some irritating skill descriptions (also 1-2 translation errors) - some areas dont have any music, which is irritating - some character animations faulty (I dont point out which, because you will stare at these from the beginning) -
postgame is a mixed dungeon out of all dungeons, not very engaging
Conclusion: One of the few remakes i know fro Seiken densetsu (aka Mana series). i havent played the old classic and only Secret of Mana. Its still a good series to get into. Very much detailed. But still has its flaws. Which I think can be taken of in the next Remake or modern mana series. Its still good, have some classics aspects, delivers good classes and normal classic JRPG story, with viewpoints. But fails to deliver a solid translation and indepth love for example dialogue and replaywise. Its still worth a try and should be played nonetheless. Score: 80 13/10 Shiny Boom boom! 13/10 Angela best char! 1337/10 sexy True Queen
TBH - i wouldn't recommend the game for full price. It's a remake and really not the best one. The music is good and the visuals are cute but the Story is falling off so bad - it's sad. The Game is designed to play multiple playthroughs but i'm glad i finished just one and that's enough for me, since the crossing paths of the characters aren't well done. It was kinda fun playing but also disappointing. If you seek something "light & bright" i'd recommend it to you, but not if you're looking for bold battles, deep story and great character arc. Btw. the voice acting isn't good either and the personalities of the characters are low designed.
