A classic from my childhood wonderfully brought to life.
You're expected to build a ton of stuff on the limited starting money but trade either doesn't work or is too confusing to set up, I've yet to be able to sell anything despite the trade agreements and buildings set up. They also throw invasions at you with no way to get any weapons since I can't make any money or perform any trades. Giza requires trade to happen but there is no place on the map to place a trade port, the river is too narrow. It's ridiculous how many soft locks I've ran into like this.

To remake iconic games is a difficult task, so kudos for trying. For me personally, the 2d-comic-style and animation of units/environment just looks and feels weird. although the sound seems to be the ost, it sounds different to me. strange is, that the esc-key doesnt work anywhere in the game - no go :D this game sadly doesnt feel like the original and somewhat not right at all. I will stick to the original, but anyone who doesnt know the original and/or is fine with whatever, will have a good play.
