Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Construct and develop a thriving city in Nebuchadnezzar by overseeing agriculture, industry, and trade. Every decision impacts the economy, requiring careful planning to ensure that citizens have access to the goods and services they need. Different population classes, industries, and workforce types play a role in the city’s success, creating complex but rewarding challenges for both newcomers and experienced city builders.
The main campaign spans more than a dozen historical missions, covering key moments from the early colonization of Mesopotamia to the Persian conquest of Babylon in the 6th century BC. Each mission immerses you in a specific time period, presenting unique challenges that reflect the era’s political, economic, and technological realities.
Will you choose to worship Inanna to receive more prestige from trade? Or perhaps support Enlil to more rapidly grow your populace? It’s up to you how you engage with deities to expand trade as you manage resources in your growing city.
Monuments are more than just impressive structures—they are an opportunity for creativity. The in-game monument editor gives players complete control over design, allowing customization of the layout, color scheme, and intricate details. Whether recreating historical wonders or designing something entirely new, players have the freedom to shape the architectural legacy of their city. Will you recreate history or make your own path?
Nebuchadnezzar is built with modding and localization in mind, allowing you to expand your game with new buildings, goods, production chains, maps, and missions. Nearly every aspect of the game is moddable, providing endless possibilities for customization.
It’s in your hands how you shape your legacy within Nebuchadnezzar.

Throwback games can be fun but this one is too restrictive for me. Figuring out exact ratios and good placement is fine but I don't enjoy the tedium of manually controlled routes.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Some things are super counter-intuitive: 1. follow the tutorial STEP BY STEP. You fail to follow 1 advise you won't progress through the game. 2. put a warehouse with the goods you are exporting next to the port or you won't sell anything. I'll update if i find more.
I teach ancient world history and have been looking for more Mesopotamian themed games or elements since the release of TW Dynasties. It has a similar flow and style to the old Pharoah and Cleopatra games I played for hours growing up. That being said it really stands out easily making my top list in just a few hours. I am not sure how this one flew under my radar for this long but if you like ancient history, warfare, trade and building this is it. This is a fun, realistic, incredible city builder. It is worth every penny. I only hope it continues to develop!
Pharaoh / Ceasar augustus like but with some good twists to old mechanics that keeps the game fresh and fun to solve the puzzles as you grow and expand the city. Like the lack of time limits as well. Wish some of the ornaments were bigger or more grand like Pharaoh, but it's more in line with the era and civilization. Silting and salt may be a good mechanic to add later. Also potentially the bronze age collapse.
Real taxing game, unlike most city builders - the balance of goods vs economy is really sensitive making this game even at "easy" level hard to play, but with persistence you can outsmart it!!
This game is, horrifyingly, addictive. Once you start, good luck stopping. I played it for a quick half an hour. A week later i had put almost 60 hours into the game and had finished the final mission, plus a load of obscure achievements to boot. Pros: The music, the visual style, the funny voice lines of the characters when you click on them. Cons: The campaign can be a full on grind towards the end. Each mission feels like a repeat of the last with an extra step at the end. Get this game if you like the old school styler of city builder game. But don't be surprised when you get horribly addicted. Anyway, now i have finsihed the campaign, time to try sandbox. What could go wrong?
Initially, I played this game on and off. Recently, I restarted all over and have been clearing mission after mission. The original game with 13 missions was much easier to manage after all the updates. I then got the DLC, more war focused but its seems to make more sense now. I can grow a city but if I can't support an army then what's the point, right? There is a need to balance the civilian population with your army size which in turn means your production and farms must be efficient enough to support BOTH civilian and army needs. Right now, the only wishlist for me is if there can be a DLC that is based on another civilization like Eqyptian or even Chinese.
it's good honestly, there is a large focus on logistics and manually setting the routes for resources using caravans, I didn't really like the military mechanics in this one but oh well. still worth playing as a successor to the historical Sierra citybuilders
Its a simple game like Caesar III. Farm and manufacturer stuff for your city and for trade with other cities.
