Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 14 → 5.33/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The 2.0 update is extensive, transforming nearly every aspect of the game, but the highlights include:
Fully realized pilots – Recruit pilots with over 100 unique pilot traits and abilities which allow for in-depth buildcrafting and synergies with your mechs. With a new recruitment and class specialization system, expansive leveling with varied progression trees, combined with new visual customisation options, you can build your own flavor of deadly (and stylish) ace pilots.
A reworked campaign – New maps, new quests, and new combat scenarios along with fully rebalanced factions ensure you face varied squads with different equipment, armour and unit configurations. You have even more reason to collect new equipment and experiment with different loadouts to take on these new threats.
Completely reimagined overworld – Explore new provinces, varied landscapes and overhauled campaign systems. New liberation and overworld mechanics, new points of interest and events, new province modifiers and improved mission generation provide a varied, constantly evolving environment to encourage players to adapt and overcome.
A HUGE amount of community driven quality of life updates – New salvage and debriefing menus, new mission previews and reward generation, reworked workshop and crafting, improved damage logic and prediction, new options and difficulty settings, comprehensive weapon balancing, subsystem reworks and much more!
Phantom Brigade is a cinematic, tactical mech strategy game with an innovative timeline-based command system. See the future, predict enemy actions, and plot your counterattack on the timeline! Recruit and level up your squad of rebels to retake war-torn Fyrland from the Kaskad occupation.
Cinematic spin on the turn-based genre – Predict enemy movements, orchestrate precisely timed countermeasures, and hit “execute” to watch the physics-based action unfold in real time.
Extensive customization – Featuring a rich customization system, Phantom Brigade enables you to fine-tune the performance of your mechs, install a wide selection of equipment, and access a wealth of cosmetic options. Prepare your squad for any challenge - in style.
An expansive arsenal – Railguns, beam weapons, missiles, energy swords, and more! Rain destruction down upon your homeland’s invaders with weaponry salvaged from each enemy mech you defeat.
Strategic tactical combat – Make high-level tactical decisions on the world map, manage your mobile base, and decide how to apply your limited resources. Take command of your squad in varied missions ranging from sabotage of enemy equipment and convoy ambushes to liberation battles and challenging outpost onslaughts.
Destructible environments – It's not a proper game about giant mechs without destructible buildings! Phantom Brigade allows every square meter of each battle map to be destroyed. Shatter your enemy’s cover and collapse buildings on top of them!

Incredibly fun, with amazing growth over time. Basically a pseudo turn based strategy game, with a lot of customization and satisfying combat. Pros: +) Incredible music +) Very fun gameplay +) Very clean, very usable UI +) Lots of really fun abilities and equipment +) Beautiful scenery and environments, though you see them from a bird's eye view Cons: -) Common items are kinda useless very fast, and clutter the inventory -) Pilot level ups max out at 6 and then prestige to keep an ability. A kinda baffling (for me) design choice that limits pilots and builds in a way games like Xcom don't. Still,a very hearty recommendation.
This is one of the most enjoyable and innovative mech games I've played in a long time. The combat combines elements of turn-based and real-time mechanics, allowing players to predict enemy movements for strategic planning, leading to some intense encounters. It's clear that a lot of love went into this game. For the price, it’s an absolute steal!

This game is a flawed gem. It's good enough and definitely scratches the "mech-itch", but has some fairly visible minor flaws. It's fun to play and watch which is why this is still a solid recommend from me. The good: -The 5 second realtime turn planning is COOL. When you get it and outplay the enemy against overwhelming odds, it NAILS the theming of the phantom brigade appearing supernaturally fast to the enemy. Watching it on replay is somehow even more satisfying. -Good variety of mech parts, some decent designs aesthetically even. -Pilot skill trees are satisfying and very impactful. -Interesting extra buttons and wrinkles for mechs assuming you find and install the relevant parts. -Multiple build types feel viable even on high difficulty. The eh: -Regions have dedicated enemy theming (special ops, energy based, etc.) which means the parts you salvage after battle depend on the theming you're fighting. This means your highest leveled parts may not fit on any builds you like. -One way to disable mechs is through pilot damage. It feels terrible when a special ops region does this to the player: there are snipers on high difficulty that can legitimately one-shot your pilots from across the map. -Base upgrades don't feel big. They are needed, but feel soooo shallow. Devs might be better of rephrasing a 0.1m/s increase in speed as +X%. -Weapon variety CAN feel low because weapons types aren't balanced well against each other leading to entire classes of weapons feeling inferior. There's still plenty to go around, but it had that diablo-esque effect of most weapons being junk. The bad: -Game eats computer resources and is hongry. I had two system crashes playing this over 50-ish hours so it's not horrid, but I don't expect any game to have the capability to crash me.
They took DnD's time expression of one turn = six seconds and actualized it into the game.
A delightful turn-based mech game, much akin to the best of the Front Mission series.
Great tactical fun, good challenge
fun
Originally noticed them through their early access demo, purchased them before 1.0, held off playing after a quick test, 'cause I have a TON of backlog and I observed them picking at some harsher edges aaaaand... Now past 2.0, hey, they really have delivered. Playability, content, all looks very much improved from the already-great-but-unpolished beginnings. Feels really cool and nice when the going is good; haven't tried not winning yet, so I can't speak for the pleasure of that.
