What could have been a good game is ruined by the way the camera works. What should be an easy challenge is rendered ridiculously difficult because of the way the camera and controls work against each other. The main character will dance around a target rather than hit them because you cannot align them to actually face them and you might as well not even try to jump to a precise target. Its worse than bad game design, its malice and the designers should be punished accordingly.
An underrated Hack n Slash! The Italian made Soulstice is no DMC or Bayonetta, but it is not half bad either. With a frenetic flything system, the game’s tempo and rhythm is great, especially when combined with a good variety of enemies. Story wise the game is alright; the lore may be a tad confusing but the two sister protagonists grew on me, as well as the other side characters and nemesis. What I really liked was the location of Ilden; it is really cool to have the whole adventure set in a single capital. Soulstice may surprise you too!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
I feel really bad for giving it a negative review, because I was having quite the fun up until the mid-game section. Then the design of almost all encounters, challenges and bosses becomes really bad. As if the studio fired the previous designer and hired a new one. My main problems are the camera, which is really bad even for traversal purposes, the unblockable attacks, to which you have a single frame of reaction time to dodge them. and off-screen attacks that will stagger you. The telegraphing of those attacks is a simple short burst of fire, which you are supposed to notice among all of the flashing during combat. Devs should have play-tested the game more.
Decent game, but it gets really repetitive really fast, as well as having mediocre performance. I know my rig isn't a beast, but I should definitely be able to run this game at 60 fps with medium settings, which the game can not. Not a bad game to get for a few bucks on sale, but there are much better options out there.
Decent ideas, budget execution. It starts out well enough, but its idea of difficulty scaling is suspect, as it starts throwing too many damage sponge enemies and relies heavily on color-coded gimmicks. Encounters lose their flow because of this, something that is severely worsened by the atrocious camera. The game has fixed camera for exploration and free camera for combat and I'm pretty sure it should be the other way around, because the last thing I want during combat is taking my thumb off the face buttons to rotate the right analog stick. Enemy visibility is also abysmal, both in terms of telling them apart in the heat of battle and even just seeing them against the background. The game's counter mechanic is also questionable, as it very quickly turns into a glorified QTE mid-combat. Scanning the screen for counter prompts while trying to engage in combat is extremely distracting. Because of the nature of the system, half the time you won't even know what the successful counter actually did, you just know you didn't get hit. It's also not consistent, as not all of the enemy attacks can be countered in this way. At all times, the game seems weirdly fixated on wrestling control of the arena away from you. I went into the game really wanting to recommend it, despite its flaws. The Claymore inspiration is strong and very much appreciated. It's also surprisingly well-written and well-acted, I genuinely wanted to see more. But it's not fun to play after a while. The budget jank starts creeping it and really weighs on the experience. Levels can take up to 40 minutes on first play, if you explore, but exploration only yields more "orbs" for upgrades. Linear levels, where all you do is hit crystals between encounters. There are barely any puzzles. The whole thing reeks of punching above one's weight.
The Xbox360 game I never got to play. It's very obvious it shares commonality with games like DMC and Darksiders. It didn't hold my attention enough to get anywhere significant in the game. I just don't care for games like this anymore. It's not a bad game, repetitive for sure, but not bad
A good game hurt by some stupid design choices and the most insane stuttering possible that they could have fixed easily (just a toggle inn the engine settings).
very berserk inspired, ive always hated fixed camera games but this ones good enough that ill keep playing, my only issue is its way to easy (oh and the horribly made parkour) but apart from that its great
