After 60 hrs I discovered there's at least a few broken things and it seems to be only for some people. I would only get this game for free had I the opportunity. That being said it would be an amazing game for free! I did enjoy it...mostly but as I was achievement hunting I discovered I have one of the copies that just must be broken. Very frustrating. I'm not going to finish this game and there's no reason to continue the hunt bc who knows what's broken next?

Je pense que les développeurs ont fumé la moquette… C'est un jeu d'aventure découverte sur une planète sortie de l'imagination de H. P. Lovecraft, mais revue par Tex Avery. Tout est un peu barré mais terriblement drôle. Kindred Aerospace vous envoie sur une planète inconnue avec en tout et pour tout un "bonne chance". L'IA qui vous accompagne n'a aucune compassion, mais vous remet sur pied avec sarcasme. Les plantes et les bestioles sont bizarres, parfois dangereuses mais très colorées et drôles. Je trouve le mode coopératif très sympa. Il n'y a pas deux parties distinctes, solo et coop. Le second joueur entre dans votre partie et les acquis sont communs et restent dans votre future partie solo. On peut toutefois faire une sauvegarde séparée. La progression est assez facile. Et évidemment les updates sont aussi barrés que le reste… (C'est le seul endroit où j'aime écouter les pubs) Bref, un jeu pour se marrer seul ou avec un ami.

I mean it's alright. $30? I dunno. It's no SOTN. The real problem with this game, what absolutely kills it, is the exploration. The rewards just aren't worth it. It's always either crafting materials, of which you'll have a near endless supply just by playing without exploration, or it's orange goo which upgrades your character. The thing is, this game isn't difficult. After a couple upgrades, I don't think anybody is going need the additional health pool. The extra stamina is nice but, you know, it's not worth exploring every inch of the map to improve. You can eyeball a lot of the upgrades and bonus crafting materials around the map...so exploring just to get even more feels very underwhelming and tedious. So, that leaves the side quests and the main story. Well, the side activity is mostly scanning stuff, collecting samples, gaining levels, etc. This unlocks additional perks in the skill tree but, again, for what? Extra damage? Most stuff in this game dies very, very quickly. This isn't Elden Ring. I'm just not feeling the incentive. The main story, or main quest I guess, is pretty straightforward. Just go to the map marker. It'll take you directly to the required upgrades and encounters and locations and then the game ends. Only, you aren't done. If you want the true ending, you're going to have to engage with some more side content so you can fuel up your ship. At least, I think that's what was being told to me before alt-F4'd out after beating the final boss. I mean look, if this game is available for a deep discount, and you just want a silly, low-stakes game to pass the time. Go for it. It isn't a bad game at all. It sort of reminds me of an early 360 game, before the urine filter era of gaming, when something could just be simple and comical and not so dour. There's not much else to say. No map is incredibly lame. The charged up pistol sound is so loud and obnoxious, especially with headphones, that I never used it. But, I did enjoy it. The advertisements are funny. While simple, the enemy designs are fun. There just isn't much here to talk about. Take it or leave it.
