If war is the closest we get to hell on earth, it's because Earth harbours the worst of demons: humankind. In an isolated country ravaged by infighting, discover the secrets of your past and deal with the repercussions of a mysterious calamity.

Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

About
Hell is Us is a 3rd-person action-adventure game that combines intense melee combat with the thrill of exploration. Explore a semi-open world to find answers to your questions and face mysterious creatures all along your journey.
As well as the civil war dividing the country, the region is suffering from a mysterious calamity, which has given rise to supernatural creatures that no modern weapon can defeat. Your drone and sword from a different age are your faithful allies as you cut a path through lands infested with terrifying chimeras and try to unravel the mystery of their appearance.
No map, no compass, no quest markers: following your instincts is part of the adventure. Enjoy a unique experience that uses innovative writing and level design to let you make your own decisions and follow your instincts as you explore. Your discoveries are yours alone.
Swords, spears and axes: a wide range of weapons forged specially for fighting these supernatural creatures is available. You will need to learn how to fight these monsters and use your drone wisely to stay alive.
''The central theme of Hell is Us is that human violence is a perpetual cycle fueled by human emotions and passions.'' – Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, Creative Director

Great game—haunting and sorrowful horror atmosphere, awesome sound design, and an interesting world. Unfortunately, I found the running around the areas even in the newer territories too tedious and repetitive, which is what led me to stop playing. Still, that’s no reason for a bad review, as it’s just my personal take. They put out something new and its a great product.
When it first came out, I didn't have a great pc. barley made it thru the demo, then I got an upgrade, game when on sale, and now here I am! I like there isn't map markers or map aside from physical ones you have to pull out and read. not very far into it atm... but looking forward to playing it again. I am busy so I also apprecaite there is difficulty settings and the game actually pauses when you hit escape. for a souls like, that is nice for me in this stage of life

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

idk about this. looked cool, but there's a cool cow at the first area that you cant interact with in any way and that pretty much tells me all I need to know
I really wanted to like this game, but unfortunately it just didn't click with me. The story never managed to pull me in, and I found it difficult to connect with the world or the characters. I think a more grounded and believable narrative would have worked much better. **Spoiler Alert** Early in the game, there's a scene where a woman saves the main character and then dies. The protagonist simply takes her outfit and moves on. It felt strange and rushed. Who was she? Why was she important? The game doesn't give enough reason to care, and that moment ended up feeling unintentionally awkward rather than emotional. The main character also comes across as very flat and expressionless, especially during the opening hours. Because of that, I struggled to become invested in what was happening. As for the combat, the sword and weapon mechanics never felt satisfying to me. Maybe it gets better later, but from what I played, it just didn't feel good. Overall, this game feels odd in a way that's hard to describe. Some people may enjoy its style, but it wasn't for me. I ended up more confused than interested.
The first 10 hours of this game were truly great. The zones and vistas look so real and the story is so good, it brings a complete new concept to the horrors of war and was the biggest reason to keep playing. The rest of the game feels like half baked ideas thrown into the game. A lot of the puzzles, chests and Good Deeds (small side quests) felt out of place and horrible unlogical. After a while it became so dumb and sad I just looked eveything up on youtube, I did not want to waste an extra minute on bloated puzzles and cringe 'look around simulators' to get to the next part of this amzing story. The combat is also one of those thing that really felt great the first Chapter of the game. But then you realise you have to fight against the same 6 enemy types for the rest of the game and my god boooooring, even the boss fight become an uninspiring drag that is over in 5-10 seconds. When a game makes me feel like I have to slogg through it then I can not recommend it
Bez mapy a šípok... Naposledy som takú radosť z toho byť odkázaný sám na seba cítil asi pri Subnauitice, ci Elden Ringu A vy tomu tú pozornosť dáte, lebo atmosféra evokujúca This War Of Mine šmrncnuté trochou mystična ako z Death Stranding, je skvelá. Explicitne krutá, depresívna, no skvelá.
