Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I love the game but beware the FMV's don't load on the steam deck. Needed to watch those on my PC to progress.
First things first: Is the farming as good as in Stardew? Frankly, no, but it's still pretty engaging. There's lots of things to grow, lots of stuff to craft and cook with the things you grow, and lots of space to do it in. Story: The story is actually really good. Surprisingly so! It starts out slow, but really goes some places. Combat: Hmmmmmmmm... It's sort of deep: there's a bunch of classes, skills, *attributes* to learn and exploit. But it's kind of shallow in that it's mostly a dps challenge with some minor positioning. Think of MMO combat but there's no tank or healer classes, so you better hope you brought enough juice to heal the unblockable damage. Relationship building: Each of your party members has a long quest chain over which you build relationship. But that relationship is mostly just for stat buffs until the post-game. The quests do have good story though. Sound: The music is incredible. It does get a little repetitive toward the end, but I never got tired of it. Go Shiina is one of my favorite modern composers. Graphics: Bright, colorful, stylish characters and environments. The art design is great, but the graphics aren't what I would call... system-taxing. Still nice to look at though. A minor complaint: If you're only interested in playing through the story and quests, you could probably do that and only minimally look at the farming aspect. There are enough wild materials to earn enough money to upgrade your weapons enough, and craft enough food and juice to live through to the end. This makes farming feel kind of unnecessary, and lead to thoughts of if the game would be better without it. But the farming is fun enough on its own merit, and filling the encyclopedia made my brain go brrrrr.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

story: 10/10 characters: 8/10 (some are very interesting some are plain) music & graphics: 9/10 (music is nice sounding but sometimes it's like a lullaby and makes me sleepy) combat: 1/10 (disaster) farming, crafting & etc: 6/10 (basic, not bad) Overall I'll still recommend this game to those who love good story RPGs. You'll have to ignore how poor the combat design is.
Game is fantastic. It has hard hitting themes that I didn’t expect from a game of this genre. Combat is a lot of fun with job switching on the spot. A lot more of an RPG than a farm sim but the farm stuff is fun too if you already like farming. Game on release has more content that most Early Access farm games do when they ship out their 1.0 version. Can’t wait for the sequel!
is it 60$ still? ehh pick it up at 40$... pretty good game but i'd pick it up for like 30-40
Harvestella looked like the perfect cross between a JRPG and a farming sim, two of my favorite genres, so I was so excited for it to come out. The farming could be stronger, and I wish so much you could change your character's outfit, but it's a fun game and I've really enjoyed it. I would recommend this game more strongly for people who enjoy Final Fantasy or the Tales games than Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon, but if you're like me and enjoy both, then this is really fun.
Initially, I was excited after watching the trailer for Harvestella. Though I had never played Rune Factory, I anticipated it would be somewhat similar to that series. Being a fan of Harvest Moon (before the Natsume split, with the game series now known as Story of Seasons), my excitement grew. However, my enthusiasm waned after reading the reviews, revealing that it didn't quite deliver the promised experience. It's been some time, but I believe I purchased the game during a discount period, which, in hindsight, I'm thankful for. In spite of it not meeting my initial expectations, I found myself thoroughly enjoying Harvestella. I loved the story, the atmosphere, the characters and especially the music. That said, there are several areas I believe could be improved: - More character customisation: I would have appreciated the ability to change my character's appearance more extensively, including their coloration, outfits, and hairstyles. Currently, outfit options are limited to your character's class, and overall customisation choices are scarce. - Limited animations and occasional jankiness: Given that the game was initially priced around £50 and developed by Square Enix, I had higher expectations in terms of polish. EDIT: Realised after my review that it was PUBLISHED, not developed by Square Enix - my bad! Regardless though, for the original price, I would have loved to have seen more polish with animation. - Repetitive non-party NPCs: The standard NPCs lacked diversity in their designs, which was disappointing, especially considering the engaging side-quest stories. Individualised designs for these NPCs would have added depth and identity to each story. - Resource grinding: The game required a fair amount of resource grinding. - Travel-heavy side quests: While I enjoyed the side-quest stories, many of them involved fetch quests or excessive travel, which felt burdensome. - Aesthetic and map design: The aesthetic of the locations was appealing, but the maps felt somewhat bland and repetitive. The interiors often appeared as copy-and-paste designs. This lack of diversity hindered my motivation to explore. Admittedly I did expect more of an open world experience. What I appreciate about Harvestella are the characters, the storyline, and the music. I became deeply immersed in the game's conflicts and was motivated to see the story through to its conclusion. I would be very interested in a remake or a sequel that addresses the points mentioned above. Despite not meeting my initial expectations, I genuinely enjoyed my experience with Harvestella and haven't regretted my time with it. I would recommend it to those who enjoy JRPGs - but maybe wait til it's on sale.
This game is beautiful....but that is all it has going for it. The story is so slow going at first, and i mean almost boring. Then you get to like chapter 4 or 5 and it slaps you in the face. The end just had me going wtf. The combat is meh. It's annoying that you can't move while attacking. The healing is horrid. You can only heal with food, but there is a kicker. You can only eat so much food in a day. If you go through a dungeon and get hurt a lot (which will happen a LOT) you better hope you have drinks. Oh but those drinks don't heal worth anything so you need like 30 to get through a tough boss. There is no customization when it comes to your character, and by that I mean you can change colors only. Hair, eyes and skin, and that's it. The only time your outfit changes is when you are in a dungeon. It changes to the class you are. Oh and the outfit is the same no matter which gender you pick at the beginning. I could never play as the guy in this game. He is almost as girly as the girl. Which is not bad, its just not what i want if I'm playing a male hero. Just my opinion though. And last but not least, the romance. I forced myself through the story just to get to the romance. And boy was the let down tough. I was hopping for something similar to Stardew Valley. I didn't think i was expecting much but I was apparently setting my bar way to high, The romance is pretty much nonexistent. You don't go on dates. You don't hug. You don't DO anything, All it is is basically getting your favorite character to move in with you. It's just a fancy roommate. The end. I mean you know it's bad when you ask them to, i guess be with you and they all act so surprised. It's a romantics nightmare. But if all these things don't bother you, then by all means enjoy the game. I guess I was just hoping for a lot given that this is a Square Enix game. I fully regret spending so much time playing this game. If you want a good version of this game, go play Rune Factory 4 or Stardew Valley. Now THOSE games are worth my time.
绝对的好游戏,熬过开头三四个小时根本停不下来,剧情美术音乐都奔着满分去的,日式rpg和符文工坊爱好者必入,能看出来用心做了可惜经费时间没有很足,但不影响本身是个好游戏
This game is incredible. The music alone is worth a playthrough. It's an RPG first and a farm sim second. The side quests are truly great. The game makes you invested in the world and characters around you. Quests will have you relating to, sympathizing with, and being emotionally invested in the town folk and characters. Some quests are comedic and funny. Some will make you sad. This is where the game really shines. The combat is thin but overall gets the job done. Unlocking the 4th ability for classes feels rewarding. Progressing the farm is also rewarding. The pacing feels right and I enjoyed min/maxing my farm time while progressing the quests and RPG elements. Overall it is a game with some flaws and issues... but the incredible music, the beautiful scenery, the heartfelt moments, and the overall investment in the world has made this one of my favorite games. It feels like a game that was on a tight budget but the team managed to really make something that is greater than the sum of its parts.
