First, I want to say that I'm really enjoying SAO: Echoes of Aincrad. The combat, exploration, and progression have been a lot of fun. One thing I would love to see in future free updates or DLC is the addition of the life skills that made Aincrad feel like a real, living world in the light novels and games. Not everyone in SAO was a front-line fighter—many players chose professions and built their own lives within the game. I'd love to see skills such as: 🍳 Cooking 🎣 Fishing 🏹 Hunting ⛺ Camping 🔨 Blacksmithing 🧪 Crafting/Alchemy 🧵 Tailoring 🌿 Gathering 🎼 Music 👂 Listening/Search Skills 🗺️ Tracking These systems could provide buffs, create new ways to earn Col, encourage exploration, and give players more reasons to revisit every floor of Aincrad. They would also make the game feel much closer to the world portrayed in the novels and anime. I hope the development team considers expanding the game with these features. They would add depth, replayability, and help make Aincrad feel like the immersive MMORPG that so many SAO fans have dreamed of experiencing.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I'm a big Sword Art fan. I watched the original series back in 2012 when it was new, both Dub and Sub, and I enjoyed the world of Aincrad. I've played all but maybe 2 of the previous SAO games and for the most part, they were severely lack luster. This game had SO much potential. A vast, beautiful world. Souls-like combat which actually fits the atmosphere for once (SAO is one of the few franchises I actually agree that the Dark Souls combat fits really well considering how much the combat in the anime mirrors dark souls with their dodging, occasionally rolling, and attacking). The Death Game Mode was the icing on top too. I was looking forward to it the most, because this is one of the few franchises where a save wipe happening on death fits the theme. All that said, the game is not worth the price tag. This is yet again another burn on my part. I pre ordered it even though I learned my lesson on No Mans Sky and Cyberpunk 2077. And while both of those games are far better than they were on launch, I still can't get past the scars they left from the initial release. This game is the same. We were promised open world gameplay. You are forced down a wide yet hollow path. Any attempt to leave the guided path is met with warnings and occasionally a teleport. The NPCs are all shallow generic back ground anime characters. None of them are unique, and the ones that are remotely so are just generically unique ("I'm a generic man but secretly I'm actually a woman" trope). None of the weapons are unique despite SAO having unique weapons in the game. The story isn't remotely interesting. I stopped paying attention after the third mission after the prologue. And the prologue. Oh my god the prologue. 2 hours of one dungeon "teaching" you the mechanics. It should absolutely be skippable, and the Death Game Mode should only take affect AFTER you join SAO, not during the Beta. (If you die in the Beta portion during the Death Game Mode, it wipes your data) I looked forward to this game for months, and got super excited when the day came. I had so much hope for it. Yet, the game failed to deliver. It not only failed, it lied to our faces the entire time. Steam should give back refunds to every person that bought this game, regardless of hours put into it. Bandai should be ashamed of themselves and give out a public apology for this travesty they dare call a game. Never in all my life have I been this disappointed in a game.
very good game, i hope they continue to add floors to future dlcs
