Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties

I am so happy to see that Yakuza 3 was finally given a Kiwami release! I'm barely a few hours in and having played the original on Steam, I am loving it already! I have no clue what kind of adventure I will have playing through Akiyama's mission, but I'm stoked!

뭔가 용과같이 시리즈중 가장 좀 떨어지는 느낌입니다. 다른 서브퀘스트가 나올지 알고 열심히해봤는데 음...뭐랄까 동숲요소를 넣은거같은데 재미는없고 스트레스 숙제느낌이 납니다. 외전도 넣어줬는데 강간범 옹호하는거같아서 바로 본퀘만깨고 외전은 안함 ㅋㅋ..무튼 좀 실망임

作为如龙来说剧情以及动作引擎算还可以了，唯一就是价格和游玩时长太不匹配了，极二我打了24小时还没打完，极三不到20个小时就把主线打完了，如果是原价买的实在不值268，打完折也觉得没那么值

I played Kiwami and Kiwami 2 and liked those games a lot and I have been waiting for Kiwami 3 for a while now. I didn’t really want to go back and play the remastered versions. Overall, this game was a big let down for me. This was definitely one of my least favorite Yakuza games. It might be in dead last place for me. First, to review Yakuza Kiwami 3, I would say that it’s the first Yakuza game where I feel like I got genuinely bored with it. There really just wasn’t enough fun side content to keep me going and that’s honestly one of the main reasons I love these games. God knows it’s not the storylines (which usually start out fine and then eventually become an overly complicated, convoluted mess)!! Most of the side content here wasn’t as fun as in some of the previous Yakuza games. The biker thing was fine. It was really just a rehash of the same type of thing that was in the other games that I have already done a million times though. Same goes for the coliseum. The phone decoration thing was mostly boring BUT I did love seeing my stupidly decorated phone appear in cutscenes. That got a laugh out of me. The Morning Glory storyline was very fun and the activities at Morning Glory were interesting. I spent a lot of time there and enjoyed it a lot. All of the different little stories that the orphans had going on were cute. That was probably the highlight of Yakuza Kiwami 3 for me. I would rate Kiwami 3 as a 5 or 6 out of 10 and that was mostly because of how much I enjoyed Morning Glory. Second, to review Dark Ties, I thought it was decent. It was mostly content that amounted to different little substories and fetch quests, but I was okay with that. I can’t say much about Mine as a lead character. I mean, he’s certainly no Majima, but I didn’t have any problems with him either. I did find his fighting style to be a bit more limiting than Kiryu’s though. But, I don’t really have too many complaints about Dark Ties as a whole.
