Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 25 → 7.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Okay is the best way to describe this game. Not great, not horrible, just ok. It’s a bit tricky to have a final opinion about this game though. The game itself is not bad and the gameplay feels good, but at the same time this game is basically just a bare-bones ARPG. In the base game, you have several acts and in each one of them you battle the followers of one of Warhammer’s chaos gods (Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle, and Slaanesh), and the story is augmented with an extra DLC act where you go against the necron-like Tomb Kings. The problem is, the mobs are literally identical in the acts, so you battle the same types of enemies for each of the gods, which is like 5 to 7 types of mobs per god. The story itself is also extremely simplistic, but it's fine and serves its purpose. The quests and missions however are also nearly identical all the time – kill big mob or collect a thing. Items and stats are ok, but there's not really a crafting system in the game, other than a „boost item“ crafting type of thing. To me, this feels like it had so much potential to be a great ARPG, but they seem to have given up half-way or something. So, yeah, I will give this a positive rating and I will recommend it, because I did like it, but just be aware that this is basically a very simple ARPG with little content, and the most you'll get out of it is a quick single playthrough, which means it’s probably best to get this on a sale. It's great to see this non-40k Warhammer getting some attention though!

this game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks, it's boring as hell. Warhammer as an IP isn't really suited to something so plain, and a lot could've been here to make it more interesting or fun.
The basic act of clicking on stuff to attack and move feels "off," imprecise, "gross." Bad UI, hard to tell when stuff is off cooldown. Boring, characterless, glossy visuals (the gold looks like pools of vomit). Goofy animations. Almost impossible to take damage. Controller support weird/bad (wasn't recognizing dpad or analog on main character creation menu, had to restart to switch to mkb). Skill system is just Diablo 3 but janky and annoying. Snoozefest loot. Audio mixing is all over the place, volumes differ wildly. Nothing good about it! More uninspired Warhammer junk.
TLDR: DO NOT BUY FOR COOP, but do consider for solo play if discounted (easily worth $3-5 if it fits your gameplay tastes) Fun enough game with retro dungeon clearing vibes, great controller support with multiple native layouts included for PS or Xbox style controllers. Thoroughly enjoyed chapter 1 with all its quirks. Chapter 2, problems became obvious. Coop play frequently breaks quest progression and dialogue. This was... manageable with workarounds until the "fight the bloodthirster" objective following the "tower of skulls" quest which was also kinda iffy taking three tries and then having to proceed in single player. The bloodthirster fight resulted in the character being completely locked--can't engage the fight in coop or single player and have to either start a new character or stop playing. I'm disappointed, but not surprised. I know an update will never come to fix this. Cannot recommend for any coop players--only singleplayer and with a warning that some things can still be a little weird but workable.
If you like games that are simular to Torchlight, Dungeon Siege, Titan Quest and Diablo then this game is for you it plays simular in some ways, it for sure is kinda inspired at this games: Pros: + great graphics + online coop mode + 4 classes all play a little different (and 2 dlc classes) + boss fights are fun and good lookign design + good skilltree and skills to unlock during the adventure + 5-8 hours for the story + a few different things outside of main story like Relic Hunt, Bosh Rush and Tower for getting better equipment Cons: - some places repeat over and over - no heal potions to collect and use, its all about wait timing Game is simple but fun for a while with a friend to play online coop. Not as good as the bigger games like Torchlight, Dungeon Siege, Titan Quest and Diablo but soild enought to enjoy for a few hours. You need like 45-50 hours for finishing the game with all achievements!
❌ Base game is not long ❌ Some features (like God skills) that should've been part of base game is locked behind DLCs. The Slayer edition is highly recommended for this game ❌ There's hardly any build variety with a class ❌ Gameplay lacks depth verses other ARPGs like Grim Dawn/Torchlight ❌ Gameplay feels repetitive later on ❌ Skill animations looks bad ❌ Map design is horrible. They're repeatedly reused throughout the chapter ❌ You can't buy anything in this game. Gold is used for a different purpose and it unlocks very late in game ❌ When using storage, you can't see the item stat. This makes it extremely inconvenient to use the storage ✅ Isometric ARPG based on Warhammer universe ✅ 5 different classes (1 with DLC) offers different playstyles ✅ Leveling up feels rewarding as you learn new skills every level ✅ Flexible skill system ✅ Loots are dropped based on class you play with. So no need to worry about sorting through other classes equipment ✅ Difficulty can be easily changed and rewards scales with difficulty ✅ Replayable
I recommend this game with caveats. Warhammer: Chaosbane doesn't really stand out in the ARPG genre and has a number of limitations and shortcomings, but it's decent enough to play. Just get it on sale. Pros: * game mechanics aren't overly complicated (good for casual ARPG players) * some skills are especially fun to play * you can respec skills and some other things at any time and for free (thank you!) * you can adjust the game difficulty at any time Cons: * needs more variety in enemies and locations * you have to spend too much time running back and forth between your town/hub and quest entrances/exits (not a deal breaker, but a little tiresome and a real head scratcher as far as game design goes)
Good: Sound, visuals, looks like warhammer Stuff I didn't like: I only got to level 16 on a dwarf slayer. I had no idea what splinters or gold was for until I died, and I guess they were resources to resurrect? Enemies are massive health sponges that do almost no damage, until bosses which do extreme amounts of damage. I was playing other ARPGs before deciding to give this one a try, and this one felt like I was running through molasses trying to beat on enemies while wearing no gear. Running around on my own I was starting to wonder if health pools were built for multi-player? I usually had to result to using full rage on bosses, and it would still only do half their health. The last half of their health would be a long protracted battle I could almost never get hit or risk dying, but my attacks would do almost nothing. There is no talent system, instead you have a certain number of points to equip abilities, each ability being worth a certain number of points. This leads do you only using 1-2 attacks and a couple passives. So you don't even fill up your full action bar. The slayer would constantly get stuck after using a movement ability. I would also constantly get stuck on terrain. The melee rage generators were slow hitting, really bad damage. The ranged ability generated negligibly less rage, but it attacked faster, from range, and did more damage. But you had to hit three times with each rage generator before you could use a spender, so you basically always did pitiful damage. After dying to the first real boss I wasn't left with a desire to learn the attack patterns and suffer through another 15+ minute fight after re clearing the whole map, so I just uninstalled and went back to other ARPG games.
loved it... dont understand the negative comments. if you wanted diablo... play diablo
