Without nostalgia goggles this game has aged extremely poorly. Its a pain in the ass. Everything about it. The platforming is the worst part. Honestly I could forgive everything else if not for the god awful platforming. Where are Turoks feet? You don't know. Turok doesn't know. Turoks feet don't know. No you aren't tripping balls. Yes you did time the jump perfectly. Rather you would have if the game gave you any indicator where you are in the air in relation to where you are trying to land. I cant tell if the camera is 2 feet ahead of Turoks legs or 2 feet behind them. Either way you are going down. Honest to god every level I kept thinking there's an item I have to collect that enables double jump or a jetpack because only a jackass would design platforms like this.
Genuinely amazing, Just pure fun. level design is fun to explore and find secrets in. Weapons and enemy variety is a little lacking, but it makes up for it by simply being very solid and fun.

Never played the original so this is a totally fresh experience for me. Fantastic boomer shooter. Runs like a dream on a modern system and plays great. Soundtrack makes me feel like im being hunted by an African warlord deep in the jungles of the Congo 10/10.
The original version of this game was the reason I love shooters. Love being able to play it again.
Pretty good for sinking time into it, the exploring for secrets in levels is decent but you have to be fast overall because of the respawn mechanic
Hands down a great port of a childhood game. Loved it on the N64 and being able to relive it again brings strong nostalgia even keeping things like the view distance fog the N64 had. They even added cut content Brachiosaurus’ in the levels which couldn’t be done on the original cartridge
Talvez pra quem jogou a versão original na época ainda tenha o apelo da nostalgia, mas pra mim foi uma experiência bem frustrante. A combinação de ter que coletar chaves escondidas pelo mapa com inimigos respawnando infinito não é nem um pouco divertida. Talvez algum dia eu dê outra chance pro jogo.
