I bought this game and it was a mistake. Stay away. Game Labs had a great vision for what this game series could become, but Stillfront absolutely destroyed it. Gobbled up the developer with promises and kisses, then defunded and abandoned this project. It's heartbreaking to see what this could have been. There is so much there that could have opened a great door. There is truly nothing more American than this Swedish chicanery. The game we all deserved, hoovered up by a corporate giant, deboned of it's useful code, then cast on the heap of carrion. Even Darth tried to buy it back and was rebuked. I will quietly hold on to hope that Darth will be able to snatch this out the jaws of the company who now owns it. It will likely never happen. Heartless cruelty. When those of us in America still hold out hope that the Revolution's ideals can triumph, we see a game like this fall victim to exactly the kind of predatory corporatism that has caused our founding ideals to founder. Shame on Stillfront. RIP UGAR. We never knew you, really.
I have way more hours by using the Game-Labs launcher. 50 I think? Nah. Was very cool while it lasted. The game was released unfinished and the whole dev team was sacked. Don't buy it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Not Finished is fun to play for a while but lacks the depth of civil war or age of sail and becomes a chore to play as the Ai will magically appear in your rear. could have been a fantastic game especially with the persistent campaign but was abandoned, if they ever come back to fix it ill change my review.
Been deserted by developers. A shame because I only bought this early because of the excellent game they produced Ultimate General Civil War. Once again our hard earned cash wasted on supporting theses people. By that I mean game developers that take your money for promises that never eventuate.
Sadly the game was abandoned in the middle of development... In theory it could have been a great game. You can try to play of course but it isn't very balanced, things feels unfinished, UI is bad... Yeah... If you liked Ultimate General games - then stay away as this one, very sadly, is the worst...
Game abandoned mid development, not worth your time or money.
SO much Potential... flushed down the proverbial toilet. Before you leave a post... know the backstory and know, this game is DEAD! and Will never be updated because the publishing company only cares about phone games/apps. What could have been a great game, is garbage. So Sad!
UG ACW is one of the best RTS I've ever played. I bought UG AR thinking it'd be of the same calibre. It isn't. The battles AND the strategic map are crude and unpolished. I read it's been abandoned as a project. It's a joke to be on sale for £41.99 (base game). I'd say £10 would be a stretch. Also, the tutorials are just weird top-down videos. It feels like you're playing an early development, incomplete game, which is probably is.
Absolutely NOTHING like UGCW, its a pathetic attempt at replicating the better game. Units do no damage, the noise of gunfire feels like a random dudes first attempt at a game. The AI sucks, and i wouldnt buy if it was $1, it would still feel like a scam. Worst investment, i could barely get out of concord before the problems thrived. My ai troops wouldnt move where i needed, they wouldnt heal, and overall. Feels like a waste of time and money.
I got this game very early on and i had waited this long in hopes that the Devs would come back or that somehow another company would come but sadly that hasn't happened. This game has incredible potential but in this state just stay away from it.
