Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I never played the original on the SNES, but you can see how this is a remake within the first few minutes. My first try was put off by how the script of the cutscenes was written for a sprite-based game and it didn't seem like there was enough budget to make the full transition to 3d. I came back later and resolved to forgive the story side of the game so I could experience the RPG side, and I wasn't disappointed. The first playthrough took less than 20 hours, but the systems implemented do a good job of streamlining the post-game experience. In NG+ you can carry over abilities, stat boosts, and collectible progress so you can focus on trying new characters and classes. For some hardcore players, the endgame would likely be building up the entire cast for a maximum difficulty playthrough (I believe there are 3 difficulties above Normal), however I am likely going to move on to Visions of Mana after I've seen every character's class.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.78/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is the first Mana game I’ve played, and I’m quite impressed with it. Aside from the terrible voice acting, I think the story is still okay. I also quite like the music and graphics. I only wish the bonds between characters were written to be closer. They literally feel like strangers to one another, even at the very end of the game.

The best game in the Mana-series in my opinion. I've platinumed it on Playstation. Recently platinumed Visions of Mana on playstation also, and that gave me the itch to play this again, so now i will get all achievements on steam also. Top notch combatsystem/class system, very good and nostalgic music. A perfect remake of the old original for the SNES.

I played the fan translation of the game several times 20+ years ago, so there's a lot of nostalgia here. It's a fun romp with a lot of silliness. There are six player characters with their own stats and abilities. You choose three of them when you start a new game. Each of these characters has their own backstory and starting zone. Your main character choice will determine which of the three final dungeons you play. Each character also has two tiers of class upgrades. Two options each time, but your first choice will change the options for the second upgrade. That means each character has 4 endgame classes with different spells, class strikes, abilities, and passive skills. I like the updated combat in 3D and I think they did a good job re-imagining the zones in ways that were still recognizable. There are a lot of different monsters even with the higher-level reskins. Each one has their own attack pattern and you're heavily incentivized to not take any damage in each combat. My biggest problem with gameplay is your teammates' stupid AI. They're generally incapable of dodging AOEs in boss fights, and sometimes they'll just straight up not attack during the important DPS rush phases. Character stats and balance seem unchanged from the original. It's hard to tell though, since they do the classic JRPG thing where none of the stats are actually explained in any way. You have to look up class upgrades online to know what each one does before you make the semi-permanent decision. I was able to follow the story when I was a kid, so now the writing comes off as childish. I also hate Charlotte. Character design is unchanged from the OG, but now with polygons. Sometimes very large polygons. The female characters are very much anime waifu and some of the higher-level class outfits are straight up bikinis. Overall, I'm having a ton of fun but I know some of that is nostalgia. My first playthrough was ~20 hours but some of that was AFK while I tried to look things up on the wiki. The simplicity of everything stands out as an adult, but that doesn't make it less of a romp. Feels like a very faithful recreation of the original game, just in 3D.
It's good. The combat will get a little bit repetitive. I like the class changes especially the final tier. It is a pretty easy overall. Don't expect a lot of difficulty. Get it on sale.
It's probably been said a bunch before by this point, but it isn't the greatest "of Mana" game, but it's not the worst. If you like the series, you'll likely enjoy it. I'd buy it again, I'd play it again. (But only enough to get the achievements), then forget about it and then when nostalgia kicks in I'd play it again. It is great on the deck, definitely a solid choice.
As someone who has played the original Seiken Densetsu 3 I can say that this is a really good remake. The fact its voiced is also great because it helps set the tone. Some of the translation is a bit off compared to the original's fan translation but its pretty good overall. The thing I really love about the game is that there are three main big bads depending on who you pick as your main character. The class change system is also great in this remake since it isn't broken like the original. Hawke can finally be useful as a ninja and Rieze can actually debuff instead of just being dps. For those that want a great rpg to tie them over and have interest in the Mana series then i highly recommend this game. Defnitely has replay value too if you want to see the different events with each big bad and characters.
