Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

An excellent remake. Vibrant and fun. The remastered soundtrack is astoundingly good (and much more faithful to the original than the Secret of Mana remake was). I unfortunately didn't really vibe with the English VO, but the Japanese VO and subtitles are available. Runs great on both PC and Steam Deck.
Bland. I kept thinking it would pick up, but I played up to 3rd boss it only got worse.

Basics of combat are nicely executed (specifically attack, movement, stagger and enemy telegrapthed attacks specifically). It reminded me of adventure games.
Skills/Magic interrupt the flow of combat rather than flowing into it
Companions need constant babysitting, because they routinely fail to dodge attacks or heal despite being able to do both.
Exploration aspect is unrewarding. Not only is the game linear and on rails, I took any short winding paths I could and all of them only got me trivial amount of gold or consumables.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.78/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great remake of the original. 40-60 hours of fan guaranteed. Only wish you could have a 2nd or 3rd player like the original and it would have been perrfect
Played the original when it was freshly translated on an emulator as a kid, played this remake when it came out, and recently replayed it. It's a perfect remake that doesn't replace the original as a whole, it keeps all of the sexuality of the original (Riesz might be the most 34'd character in Squaresoft's library), and is just snappy with great sound that makes it fun to play. The class system is interesting too and you get 3 different endgame routes, so it has a lot of replay value. It's quite short too, with a full run taking maybe 20 hours, so replays aren't a chore. The voice acting is enough to make you cringe into a singularity, but I think they kind of knew that and were hamming it up on purpose. There's even multiple scenes where characters dramatically say the phrase "class 4," so it's a bit of cringekino at times. MUCH better than the more recent Visions or the Secret 3D remake. Legend has a good remaster too.
I bought it because I didn't have the money when the original trials of mana was published. I wanted to give my old child me the privilege of playing an updated version. It turns out it doesn't have the charm of the original: while the graphics, presentation and sound design is good, it's not near the quality of the snes original. Childhood traumas aside, gameplay is good, class system is good, graphics are good and story is weak. EDIT: Grammar.
The OG Dragon's Dogma gets a remake that stands up there with Dragon's Dogma.
Subject: Resolution and Scaling Issue - Trials of Mana (Steam) Message: Hello Square Enix Support Team, I am writing to report a technical issue regarding the screen scaling and resolution in "Trials of Mana" on the Steam platform. Issue Description: The game is experiencing a scaling error where the image does not fit correctly on my monitor. The resolution seems forced or misaligned, making it difficult to play without changing my physical monitor settings. System Information: Platform: Steam (PC) Operating System: Windows [insira sua versão, ex: 10 ou 11] Monitor Native Resolution: [insira a resolução do seu monitor, ex: 1920x1080] Steps Taken: I have already tried adjusting the High DPI settings in the .exe compatibility properties and forcing resolution via Steam launch options, but the scaling issue persists in full-screen mode. Expected Result: The game should automatically detect the monitor's native resolution and scale the UI and 3D graphics correctly to fill the screen. Actual Result: The game displays with incorrect scaling/offset, cutting off parts of the screen or appearing blurry. Please let me know if there is a specific patch or configuration to fix this for modern monitors. Thank you for your assistance
Man, if you've been lucky enough to play the original SNES version of Seiken Densetsu 3 (Trials of Mana) then you'll realize that a good game, NEVER stops being good, just because of age. Everything is here that made the original game great; jokes, references, interactions and even legit costume changes when class changing. It's all here, plus MORE. WAY MORE. Everything got expounded upon. Combat, the entire game is practically fully voice acted, the maps are literal 3D renditions of the original 16-Bit terrains although, I'm not a big fan of changing some of the names of spirits (Wisp/Lumina Djinn/Sylphid, etc) but that little change doesn't stop this game from bringing back GREAT memories of a truly solid video game. Hell, even the 'SQUARE ENIX' opening is a call back to the original 'SquareSoft' intro that you'd get back on SNES. If you want to do a legit remake of a classic video game? THIS is how it's done. HIGHLY reccommended. Even if you're just a fan of action RPGs. America never got the original copy, so if this is your first time playing it, saddle up, cause it's fun, challenging and VERY addictive, lol.
