Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The Red Lantern is a relaxing adventure game with a beautiful art style and a peaceful atmosphere that makes exploring the Alaskan wilderness beautiful. The visuals are excellent, creating an experience that feels cozy and emotional. Taking care of your sled dogs and progressing through the journey gives the game plenty of charm. However, the gameplay can become a bit boring over time, as many activities start to feel repetitive and the pacing is quite slow. Some runs don't offer enough variety to keep every moment engaging. Even though, the game is still worth trying for players who appreciate atmospheric games and don't mind a more calm experience.
You can't control anything. just point-and-click game. And a boring one at that
Jeu mignon mais très peu passionnant, on recommence toujours la même histoire en boucle et le jeu n'est qu'en anglais... ;-(
“The Red Lantern” is an okay, but flawed experience. The story is fairly shallow, and in terms of gameplay, the rogue-lite progression system is likewise shallow. The Red Lantern's frozen trails of Alaska did not offer enough variety in it’s procedurally generated events. As a result, the game quickly becomes a matter of "Which event will I see again?" It’s enrapturing visual style and atmospheric music cannot alleviate such gameplay concerns. The game takes 2-3 hours to complete, and there is not many meaningful elements that encourage repeat playthroughs. I love the dog sled team-mechanic and playing the runs again and again only reinforced that. But the rogue-style gameplay does not stay fresh all the way through and gets a bit boring and repetitive.
This game is very unique and fun, never played a game where you can choose your own adventure all that much but I glad I did got this one, ( I got it for free), The survival aspect is pretty cooool, the game is visually stunning, and there are stakes to this game, that does manage to keep your attention, though I do feel like, the game gets it's a lot more gameplay out of you using achievement hunting, which already looks extremely tedious, I mean after completely the main story, I don't have much of a drive to keep playing and, and me not really being a 100 achievement guy, anyway the gameplay is intriguing and the gameplay is worth while is all I've to say, plus the visuals :)
Cute game and a really fun idea, but really falls off on the execution. The RNG is the sole biggest issue with this game. Decisions don't matter and scripted encounters will often leave you without the resources you need to progress. The game tries to be a rogue-like without any of the good features of a roguelike. There is little variety in encounters, and most of the time you will have a run ended outside of your control, receive an item that completely solves the thing that killed you out of your control, then repeat until you beat the game. The story is great, and learning the dogs backgrounds is cute, but there's not much game to be had.
