The Gunk is a fun exploration game with a satisfying cleaning mechanic and a beautiful world. The general gameplay feels solid, with smooth and responsive movement. Exploring is rewarding thanks to optional paths that lead to extra resources, which can be used to build upgrades. The upgrades aren't anything too crazy, but they feel meaningful and progression moves at a good pace. I also liked that you can backtrack. The scanning mechanic was more mixed for me. Since scanning unique things unlocks upgrades, I often found myself scanning everything because I didn't want to miss anything. It took me a while to realize there are icons showing whether something has already been scanned, and the short scanning range meant I still had to get fairly close to objects to check them. Cleaning up the Gunk is mostly satisfying, especially when you see the environment transform back into something more colorful and full of life. It can get a little slow and repetitive at times, though. The puzzles are alright and generally quite easy, but I think they have a good balance and don't take too much focus away from the story. I also liked how they use the game's mechanics and environments. The game looks beautiful and has a great atmosphere. There is some variation between areas, although most of them naturally have a similar vibe since you're exploring the same planet. Seeing the world change as you clean it was a highlight. The story kept me engaged throughout, although I found the characters themselves less interesting. The music, sound design, and voice acting are all good and contribute nicely to the atmosphere. It's a little short, but the pacing is good throughout, so I didn't mind the length. I did encounter a spot where I became completely stuck and had to reload the latest checkpoint. Luckily, it wasn't far back. Towards the end, I also experienced a huge performance drop on the large elevator, with the framerate dropping to around 10 FPS. Overall, I really enjoyed The Gunk and would definitely recommend it.

Немного платформера, капля загадок и "пылесос", которым так приятно убирать всю местную грязь. Всё это отлично ложится друг на друга. Как вишенка - неплохая музыка (отдельные композиции для каждой локи) и, внезапно, просто красивые локации, которые не грех пофотать в местном фоторежиме. [h1] Повестка [/h1] Её нет. Ну то есть вообще нет. Ни слушайте и не принимайте ни один отзыв про наличие повестки в этой игре, это абсолютная ложь ради ничего. _____________________________ Пробежал залпом за 7 часов. Это, кстати, второе прохождение, первое было на хбокс. Кто может бегайте с геймпадом, вибрация тут неплохо настроена. Тем не менее, [b]свою полную стоимость не стоит[/b]. Ждите скидок. Всем мир.

Lindo jogo e história. A relação entre a Rani e Becky é algo admirável do inicio até o fim. Os puzzles parecem ser complicados mas depois de um tempo quando vc pega o estilo de jogabilidade vc vai embora. Seja bravo e aventureiro como a Rani e pé no chão e solidário como a Becky.

Another solid experience. Short but worth at least one playthrough. Credits were a bunch of yappin and the elevators tank frames. Looks like loading a chunk maybe.

This was an atmospheric puzzle platformer with light combat mechanics and an interesting story graphics were very pretty though i did hit slowdown in places particularly the garden elevator it was a little short clocking in at 7 hours of actual playtime to complete all in all i highly recommend it especially if you catch a sale.

Jogo chill bom, pra galera que quer curtir a atmosfera do jogo, bom pra passar tempo e dar uma relaxada entre os jogos mais focados, além de ser baratinho, recomendo. Nota 7,5/10
