Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Jul 26 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

In Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator, you take on the everyday responsibilities of a park ranger in the stunning Faremont National Park. Keep the park running, protect the local ecosystem, and support the people who visit it.
Handle a wide range of ranger duties and ensure park rules are respected. One moment, you may be completing routine maintenance. The next, you could be searching for a missing hiker or responding to an urgent wildlife callout.
Faremont’s diverse landscape stretches from dense forests and open meadows to winding rivers. Use your ranger vehicles to travel along the park’s road network and reach remote areas filled with waterfalls, rock formations, and scenic viewpoints.
Protecting Faremont’s wildlife is one of your most important responsibilities. Track animals across the wilderness, rescue wildlife in distress, and secure traps before they can cause further harm. Use specialized ranger equipment to follow signals, safely approach animals, and respond to each situation with care.
From elusive wolves and imposing bison to mischievous raccoons, a diverse range of wildlife brings Faremont National Park to life. Observe animal behavior through your camera, discover new species, and expand your personal wildlife lexicon as you explore.
Your responsibility also extends to Faremont’s visitors. Guide hikers, check permits, respond to emergencies, and investigate suspicious behavior. Handle incidents such as vandalism, prohibited items, littering, or disturbances to keep the park safe and welcoming.
Beyond urgent callouts, you’ll inspect plant health, remove invasive growth, restore affected areas, clean campsites, restock supplies, and transport materials across the park. Every completed task contributes to your park rating, unlocking new missions and equipment as your ranger career progresses.

If you have any motion sickness then do not buy this game. The hammer shakes the camera and there is no setting to change it. If they fix that it will be playable.
First of all, I actually do enjoy the game. It is a nice idea for those who enjoy nature, however, at this point I couldn't recommend it. It is definitely lacking content to keep you entertained for longer as it does get repetitive rather quickly. So, here are a few suggestions that I believe could improve the game's dynamics: - I would love to see a couple of companions for the ranger like a ranger horse to ride around and travel faster around trails, and a ranger dog that follows you around and helps with quests (finding people that are lost, sniffing out poachers, etc) - The interaction with visitors was a big disappointment. It is quite shallow and non-consequential. When we get the options to check for permits and search their belongings, I expected more repercussions. What is the point of having options to give fine, or reprimand, etc, if there are zero consequences and the visitors never really react to it? On that note, it would be nice to have some sort of currency systems so the fines make sense, and the money could be used to improve the park. - I would also like to see more animal spawns, sometimes the park can feel quite empty. - I NEED to be able to accept or reject quests while I am interacting with visitors. - Possibly more fast travel points? Honestly, I wouldn't mind it much if we had a mount like I initially suggested, but would still appreciate a quick and easy fast travel to a rest point directly from our map, just to end the day without having to walk back. - The game also needs more graphic options that can be controlled, it still runs a little meh imo, although it's a beautiful game with nice scenery. I do think this game has huge potential and I am looking forward to changing my review if future updates truly show it.

*Game is in early access, so I can recommend with caution. Currently, the game is lacking in features. The pause feature, which is very basic for a single-pllayer simulation, was just recently added. This is evidence of how primitive of a state the game is in, but on the other hand, it is assurance that the game is being worked on and improved. My biggest complaint is the lack of any guidance. I like that there are designated missions, but navigating to the location of the next objective can be difficult with minimal navigation, and figuring out exactly what to do (i.e. key press or mouse motion) can also be difficult. I was just told my shift was almost over and I needed to find a hut to rest, but there was no action to take at the rest hut or my own cabin. I thought maybe I had to go to the park office to end my shift, but I could not figure out what to do once I got to the office. A better tutorial system is definitely needed. Regarding accessibility, this game, like many, lacks a dedicated "accessibility" section in settings, but other games do still have some accessibility related settings even if they are hard to find. Control mapping, mouse sensitivity, and UI scaling are some of the most basic settings this game lacks. Another good accessibility feature would be graphical filters for colorblindness. Due to my physical disability, I also had difficulty with the hammering "minigame." The dot moves along the screen far too quickly for my reflexes to stop it accurately (which is another thing I had to figure out on my own, as there were no instructions for it).
It's criminal that this game cannot be paused, add a pause function! Movement speed is painfully slow, no ability to jump or vault over items. Beautiful environment, and a cool idea. The ticketing system could be great, maybe add a rule book that you can use to choose the correct infraction like in "The Precinct", reward or punishment for incorrect choice. Will consider trying again after future updates.
Have been here since beginning of 2026, and have really enjoyed most of the new features that have been implemented over the last six months. However, with the release of Early Access Update 2 lots of the NPC's have been bugging out and are very cleared AI voiced, which makes me sad because how can a game about preserving a national park be using something that is killing national parks :(
I was cleaning up trash in the game and thought " I could be doing this right now..." and so I did! Now my local trail is cleaner and I got outside. I like this game, gets a bit redundant but the story line missions are unique
My experience so far has been dealing with the lack of optimization, glitches and bugs. I have no doubt this can become a great game, but at this point it's not going to work well on a majority of computer systems. I thought of returning it but I honestly see a gem in development. I think it's just been released too early so I plan to keep it and see where this one goes.
So far it's a pretty good game. Its lack luster in content due to the fact that it's in beta. Really beautiful game With amazing sound design but it is buggy. My main concern for this game is astragon Entertainment They are not a good team. They abandoned Police simulator in a half-baked, unfinished buggy mess They abandoned the original firefighter simulator. And I'm concerned that the same thing is going to happen to this game. Where they focus on DLCs that make the game more buggy Never fix any of it and then abandon it when the community gets mad. I recommend this game but just be cautious of where the future lies. Love the concept, but WHY CANT I JUMP???
