Space Farmers

Space Farmers to mała, absurdalna i całkiem sympatyczna gra kooperacyjna, której największą zaletą jest to, że od początku została zaprojektowana z myślą o współpracy dwóch graczy. Trafiamy na kosmiczną stację pełną robotów, pułapek i dziwacznych eksperymentów. Kolejne poziomy łączą proste zagadki z elementami zręcznościowymi i strzelaniem, a do dyspozycji dostajemy różnego rodzaju bronie oraz gadżety. Wiele sytuacji wymaga współpracy — jedna osoba wykonuje określoną czynność, podczas gdy druga musi jej w odpowiednim momencie pomóc. Największą siłą gry jest humor. Space Farmers kompletnie nie traktuje siebie poważnie: pojawiają się świnie, Pie-O-Matic, Energy Shotgun i masa innych absurdalnych pomysłów. Gra wspiera zarówno kooperację online, jak i lokalną na podzielonym ekranie. Mechanicznie jest to jednak bardzo prosta produkcja. Zagadki nie należą do szczególnie wymagających, walka jest podstawowa, a ilość zawartości nie może konkurować z większymi grami kooperacyjnymi. Brak jakiegokolwiek trybu dla pojedynczego gracza również warto mieć na uwadze. Nie jest to wielka produkcja, ale ze znajomym potrafi zapewnić kilka naprawdę zabawnych sesji. Prosty co-op, dużo absurdu i sporo sympatycznych pomysłów. Polecam.

Space farmers is a block-style maze shooter game where you solve puzzles across 5 different stages to escape in the end. It's all farm themed too; using cattle to solve a challenge, pie makers for the cattle, and potato bombs for example. Each stage is almost never the same, and introduces different weapons, items and obstacles to overcome. To add to that, try going for the 100% achievements too, and it's sure to be one hell of a ride. But if one of you die, you have to restart, so it does require caution. The graphics are simplistic, with minimal animations but it's honestly better that way. I don't need flashy or mountains of visual effects covering my screen as I'm trying to fight through a horde of Chompys, for instance. Audio and music is fitting for a 'farm-fun' time. My overall experience was smooth worth no bugs. The only issues I didn't like was how there tends to be a slight delay when picking up items with the 'e' key, as well as the slow movements of our characters. There's no sprint option either. Other than that, Space Farmers is a game well playing if you have someone to play with for coop.

Looks fine, and from the feedback I gathered, it's a short and fun co-op game. The main problem is that I don't have any friends with this game, and since I redeemed it for free, I'm not going to force anyone to spend €8 for a run-of-the-mill 2014 game.
