Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance is not just a game; it's an adrenaline-fueled journey where your strategic prowess decides the fate of mankind against the machines. After the machines took over, the greatest threats may not come from the machines but rather from other human survivors.

Every market we collect.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Jul 23 → 4.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great RTS, the campaign is a bit short but the story is solid. Some of the decisions make a difference to the story, missions are long and can be unforgiving if you forget to keep troops supported and supplied. I look forward to trying the DLC. I do recommend the title to any RTS fan.
Some of the main missions require RNG to finish without a massive struggle but the game is very fun and im just sinking my teeth into the DLC
Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance is a genuinely strong real-time tactics game and one of the better modern entries in the RTS/tactical space. The game is well put together, with thoughtful design, meaningful player choices, and a solid selection of units that make engagements feel tactical rather than spam-driven. The atmosphere, pacing, and overall structure clearly show care and intent from the developers. Where the game really shines is in how decisions matter—unit positioning, resource management, and battlefield awareness are all rewarded. The core gameplay loop is engaging, challenging, and satisfying, especially for players who enjoy slower, more deliberate tactical combat. That said, the game feels like it’s holding back from reaching its full potential. What’s Needed to Elevate the Game Further More Maps and Game Modes Skirmish content is currently limited. Additional maps and alternative modes—such as a horde or defence-style mode—would greatly enhance replayability and give players more reasons to experiment with different tactics and unit compositions. More Units and Factions The existing units are well designed, but more variety would push the game from “very good” to “excellent.” Even the addition of new playable factions, without entirely new mechanics, would add depth and longevity. Overall Verdict Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance has an excellent foundation and is clearly built by developers who understand tactical gameplay. With expanded skirmish content, more maps, and a broader range of units or playable factions, this game could easily stand as a top-tier tactical RTS. As it is, it’s a great experience—just one that still feels slightly underdeveloped outside the campaign.
At first I could not get warm with this game i thought its meant to be played like a classical rts like C&C . I am a long time rts player and i wondered i could barely make it to the third tutorial mission in the campaign until i found the pause button (Space) its a integral part of the gameplay. So rather play it more like the real time battles in a total war. Pause a lot and plan the movement of your units carefully to react in time. It often gets chaotic and you need to split your troops to archieve several goals at the same time on the map. otherwise coordination without a huge amount of losses is nearly impossible. I also found the "Terminator Overhaul" on nexusmods which add a ton of units to the campaign(some are even new custom made) which makes it far more enjoyable and loses are not such a big pain. Still i would say even with this mod on a lower difficulity the campaign is hard and unforgiving. Plan on saving and reloading a lot in a second you can lose too valuable units to lose which makes it much harder to progress as you just get the units that you can obtain during game or buy in a shop on the campaign map. I would definitly recommend it if you looking for something that make you sweat.
great RTS game
Отличная стратегия с атмосферными городскими боями. Обвести всех юнитов в рамочку и отправить к точке задания - плохая идея для достижения победы, в игре много нюансов, микро-менеджмента юнитов и разных тактик противостояния противнику.
Love the game but I do wish there was a reply option Like we can watch what we did on our mission.
