For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Pros: * I get to make a graveyard * I work with a talking communist donkey * I can experiment with bodies before interning them Cons: * Primary source of paper is human skin * Women won't talk to me until I have more paper 9/10
Do you know what a "run-on joke" is? It's a sort of joke that starts off as a story and then it just goes on and on, and the longer it becomes, the more you get the feeling that it's not going anywhere, but you still get this bizarre desire to hear the end. And then the kid laughs and lets you know that the joke was that he/she wasted your time. Or perhaps a better analogy would be the neighbour who says that he has a root in his garden and he needs help pulling it out. You offer to help and then he adds that his car has also broken down and he needs to physically carry it to the garage and would you help? In this game, you become a gravekeeper who can advance to becoming a priest and do sort of everything for the local community including preaching, fishing, farming, voodoo, smithing, carpenting, devil worshipping, brewing, cannibalism, etc. And you are helped by a donkey who is left-wing. Does this sound like a promising setup? Well, sorry, that was it. That was the whole joke right there. I didn't giggle even once while playing it. So it's a farming/grinding game. You have to make 10 thingies. As a reward you then have to make 100 thingies. So that you get to make 1000 thingies. But there are many ways of doing it. And by many, I mean one. The game decides what you can make and where you can put it. There is no creativity permitted in this game. The chores really are just that: chores. They gave this away for free to advertise the sequel. I was thinking that maybe the sequel could learn from the mistakes of this game, but looking at the publisher's output, this is really their whole schtick. I don't think it will get better, and I am not prepared to wait around and see. What a ghastly little game. I played it. You don't have to.
This game is so close to being enjoyable. Graveyard Keeper looked like a fun cozy game with a really cool theme that I could use to kill some time. The lack of tutorial is pretty rough, I dont want to have to look stuff up or keep a guide open while I am playing so I spent most of my time struggling through everything to make any kind of progress. Its hard to tell what progress is essential to the story or progression of the sim, and what is essentially just filler or side content. The art style is awesome, the graveyard and body interactions are great, I really wanted to like this game but for the last bit of playing it I found myself just forcing myself through it and losing the fun I was having at the start. Hopefully the second game addresses a lot of issues that the first one has because this series really has potential.
The gameplay mechanics are top tier, the story is mid, and the ending is abysmal. That said, the core gameplay loop of managing the graveyard had me hooked so bad I have to recommend it to anyone who's really into management sims.

Cozy a medias
Literally use this game as a reference every time I come across a grind-fest with no benefit. Was disgusted when I found out the end of the game meant absolutely nothing, and the devs even made a joke about how the game was a shill for dlc and did exactly that. Spent hours of my life getting frustrated at myself for not making progress just to find out it was for no benefit, and to essentially be laughed at by devs who just wanted to make more money out of me. There's not even a consequence for throwing the bodies in the river, even though there's a whole cutscene about it. Worst game ever, 0/10.
Having completed the game, other than a few acheivement, I can give you my verdict. Are you a Stardew Valley fan? If so, this game is comparable but a much less deep and evolved version of the genre. Although I spent over 100 hours on it, I'd say half of those hours were spent forcing myself to complete the game, but it was so monotonous that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The game is fun for the first few hours as you discover the story and build the different areas you own, but it all becomes repetitive and lacks depth in its progression. You grow a few vegetables, improve your cemetery, and then advance the story, but this story is nothing but drawn-out dialogue between NPCs. The dungeon is a real shame, especially when compared to Stardew Valley. The NPC availability mechanic makes progressing through the game even slower and sadly tedious. Except at the very beginning of your adventure, as soon as your constructions are even slightly advanced, all you do is try to find a way to fast-forward time in order to talk to X NPC to advance Y quest, which then requires you to talk to X other NPC, forcing you to wait days before their next visit. I got this game for $0 (steam deal). If I had paid for it, I would have been extremely disappointed. For $0, it was still entertaining for a while, but it quickly became a chore. I bought all the DLC hoping for an interesting addition, but it was a complete waste of time. One of the worst game purchases of my life. Thanks
