Could be good. Way to hard early. Short days really don't give you a "fair" chance to get started. Like these types of games. This is too hardcore to enjoy.
The game start out like most games of this type but, it's missing key elements of beginning no spears are possible only 2 means of starting fire bow is awful to aim or make sense of for basic hunting. There are more bears per square inch than need be and very few small game compared to bears. The came has no mid level way to make metal from minerals you harvest until you have scrap but yet finding scrap is low and making nails isnt possible until later game. The game besides bears and wolves seems devoid of life.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I would personally not recommend this game for multiple reasons; there is not much you can do in it for a survival game, it's very janky, and it frankly just isn't very enjoyable. It has also had a bug which I believe has been recently fixed but I am told has been going on since 2017 which causes players (including myself and several others) with higher-end PC's to be completely unable to play it, the developers just ignored all player feedback about it and left them to try and figure it out themselves till now. If you really want it, wait for a sale at least.
I love this game. I don't play a lot of games, but when I do, the mechanics either are wildly addicting or just awkward and strange. This game just feels balanced, casual, and aesthetically comforting... once you get into it. At first it can be grueling and hard to start, but like a good book, once you get into it the reward is worth it. It can be difficult at first, so if you are in for instant gratification, this is not your game. But, as updates come, I've found it to be better and better because the dev is responsive and seems to want to make the game a better experience. It's not as technically complex as other survival/crafting games, but I appreciate that it's not overwhelmingly consuming. I find myself playing other games at times, but coming back to this one over and over. I know reviews that are completely positive are not always helpful, so if there were anything I would say as constructive, it would be that it is sometimes discouragingly hard at the start. The options in the setting help with making it easier, but if there were a way to easy new players into the game, that would be a bonus. However, if new players can make it through the first couple days, it's worth it.
It's too damn difficult. I've been playing for 9 hours and I havent been able to survive a single night on "easy" and I think I'm over it....
this gameplay cycle is very repetitive and has no qualities that make it stand out. It is a very cookie cutter survival game, that is horribly optimized and can only be run on the lowest settings possible. no worth the $15 I spent on it.
Even on easy this game is ridiculous. Harvesting thousands of fiber is not run. The fishing is so unbelievably unsatisfying and having to create bait every time is just the worst.
Perpetual Early Access is not fun...
This is the absolute most punishing survival crafter I've ever played, and i have 4k hours in Dayz. I played and gave up, there is no explaining anything, the sicknesses you get will not be labeled and there is no medicine early game. Youre goin to die of sickness ten times before you figure out how youre even getting it. I wish this game was player friendly, especially new player friendly but its not. I paid a full priced thirty dollars for this and i shouldve bought arsenic tablets instead. It wouldve been a better purchase.
