Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
Got this cheap in the sale and definitely felt satisfied for what I paid (13.99). Full price, I'd be more on the fence. Pros: -Team Ninja combat within the FF job system context is kind of a dream come true -Frequently hilarious. Those memes were clearly not an accident -Basic plot has some solid intrigue -Great weapon and armour variety -Characters look good, some nice animations in the sparse cutscenes. Cons: -Team Ninja hectic loot (luckily there are auto discord options) -Companion characters are paper thin narratively. -Possibly in tribute to FF1 the dungeons/ areas are very simple in layout and ultimately not as satisfying to play as a Nioh map. -No true NG+ -Very short. This might be a pro for you. Normally I'm slow with games but this was genuinely a 30 hour experience. Usually a quoted 30 hour game would equal 50 hours to me with my ponderous play, but there genuinely just isn't much to do here. All you can really do at the end is replay some missions on harder difficulty, but early ones will still be very easy without any sort of NG+ scaling. There were a couple of new missions that popped up at the end, but they're still basic retreads. Overall probably sounds more negative, but this is a great little "Wait for Sale" game for me. Like a fun cheesy B-movie, while also being like a nice tribute to the FF universe.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

just beat this game, and HATED the clunkiness of combat dynamics, but i LOVED the job system, lots of potential in the right hands hated the dialogue so much, even by the end of the game when i understood the full plot i still hated how ridiculous the dialogue was the entire game, i could skip majority of all the dialogue and still piece the story together, thats how pointless all of it was even worse, when you enter certain dungeon areas triggering team dialogue, it triggers again entering that spot as if they didnt say it already, its fixed triggers and jarring hated how tiny the map felt because you dont actually travel anywhere, wym a floating base appeared randomly, you dont even know what the outside of most of these places look like to inspire a sense of adventure and to compound it, the loot system is also bad because it goes hand in hand with last point, whats the point of exploring anything if any sneaky chest is just generic gear, just rush to quest points with drop rate increase if you want, no equipment is really special, its all lvls and stats you need monster variety is ASS i wanna say about 25% in, you just met all the monster types, now they just change colors or sum, i get thats somewhat of a staple in FF but FF games still had a MUCH larger roster of monsters to fight from than this, cuz so many of these creatures clash with their enviroment, marlboros are everywhere, ogres are everywhere, SAHAGIN are everywhere, skellies are everywhere, black widow spiders are everywhere, and horses are everywhere...ok? i can go on and on, but thats my 2 cents, i was lowkey upset FF1 remake was made this way, FF1 is barebones but its easy to expand on because they expanded on chaos in spinoffs before, and garland too, and they can add more of the iconic characters/monsters np, like chocobos and moogles, FF grown so big they coulda gave the first final fantasy an incredible rebirth, maybe even call it the First Fantasy as a nod or something, so much could've been done P.S grew up playing all the games up to now, i also got a bunch of the references they did in the game but it mattered too little too late i guess some of the music is decent but not enough to impact quality like for example FF13's soundtrack in jack's meme-y viral words "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥"
近十年来我最喜欢的最终幻想!
画面是瞎,但豪完是真的豪完
Online is dead. but the story is good Id buy this game when its on sale.
I never liked FF for the most part, cause of turn-based/single player BS, but FFTA had a special chair in my heart...Jack punched it from the chair and sat down.
true ending locked behind dlc
ミスって次元の迷宮初期化してドンペリーニイベントだけで10時間かかったけど神ゲー
Is it good enough to play? Yes Is it fun? Sort off. I mean there are definatly quality of life things that could be done or should be with the equipment, weapons, and accessory lists. The cut scenes are fair to good, some are even cool. Is it worth a AAA price? Well.. Other FF games are stronger than this one. It being one of the newest certainly is cool, but I'd have to say buy it on sale as a back up game or main to play for a while. Doesn't quite feel like a classic in the making but it might age well in time.
a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ frank sinatra in tutorial, they bought me
