Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
9 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Unplayable on pc, dont buy, works only with 3rd party sketchy programs / minus rep steam selling broken port
Aside from the weak story, the clunky game-play, the lack of Silent Hill's signature oppressive atmosphere, frequent crashes, badly optimised combat, Pyramid Head, repeating areas, pandering to the film over previous games, over reliance on cliché horror tropes and game breaking bugs, this is an okay-ish game.

9 on sale6 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 6 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 9 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A stick in the eye for those who live in the past, and in both eyes for those who forget it.
its a good story but there is too many bugs, and the game keeps crashing due to the age and no auto saves. So if game crashes after u played for an hour, with no saves u have to do all that again.
I recently completed Silent Hill: Homecoming, and I have to be honest, it's quite the buggy mess. The game crashed multiple times, forcing me to restart from checkpoints that are frustratingly sparse (because I keep dying haha), especially in the early segments. The lag and bugs were super annoying. However, once I pushed through that rough start, I began to enjoy the game. The monsters are bizarre and unsettling, adding to the eerie atmosphere, and I found ammo to be rare which added to the challenge and annoyed me a little bit too. The combat system felt a bit clunky, especially during boss fights. I struggled against one boss who had this grab move that was nearly impossible to dodge. But after some practice with the controls and learning to switch quickly between combat and walking stances, I finally figured out how to dodge that loser boss. If you’re a fan of weird ah horror games like I am, you might find Silent Hill: Homecoming worth your time. Just don’t expect the polished experience of a Resident Evil game; you might end up disappointed. Peace. 👍🏻
Honestly, I didn't think this is a bad game- just a terrible port. The controls are poorly placed and I had a fair few crashes at the start. I played it all the way through here because I had paid for it- but honestly I would recommend either get the xbox 360, PS3 versions or the emulations. Please don't waste your money with this.
The real horror in Silent Hill: Homecoming isn't the monsters—it’s the PC port. Even years later, the Steam version remains a technical wreck. Why the PC Port Fails The Bugs: Out of the box, it suffers from frequent crashes, broken Quick Time Events (QTEs) tied to frame rate, and audio that desyncs or cuts out entirely. The "Patches": Community fixes like UnknownProject are heroic efforts, but they’re band-aids. You’ll still face memory leaks and random stutters that can wipe out progress. The Solution: Emulation If you actually want to enjoy the game, skip the PC version and emulate the Xbox 360 or PS3 builds. Using Xenia or RPCS3 provides a vastly more stable experience. You get better lighting, working audio, and the ability to upscale to 4K without the game having a literal meltdown.
Please don't buy this game. It continually crashes, therefore making it unplayable. It's unfortunately been in my backlog too, so no chance of a refund for me.
got emotional damage, parental trauma, and some really creepy hot nurses. perfect.
