І.Р.К.И. 14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game's dated. Guess I got spoiled by the QOL in the remakes. The inventory space, the constant backtracking, the aiming, the terrible camera, the overall jankiness is too much. Not for me.
Resident Evil HD Remaster is one of those games that proves a great horror game does not need modern graphics or complicated mechanics to be scary. Originally released as the 2002 remake of the first Resident Evil, this HD version gives the game a visual upgrade while keeping almost everything that made the original so good. The Spencer Mansion is still the highlight of the experience. The mansion feels mysterious, dangerous and surprisingly believable. The fixed camera angles work really well because they constantly leave you wondering what is waiting around the next corner. You might hear a zombie before you see it, or walk into a room without knowing what is hiding just outside the camera. The game also does a great job with survival horror. You have limited ammunition, limited inventory space and a limited number of healing items, so you have to think about how you approach each situation. You cannot simply kill every enemy you come across. Sometimes it is smarter to run away and save your resources. The Crimson Heads are a great example of this. Killing a zombie does not always mean it is gone forever. If you do not deal with its body properly, it can come back as a much faster and more dangerous enemy. This makes you think carefully about which enemies are worth killing and which ones you should avoid. The puzzles and exploration are also a big part of the experience. The puzzles are not particularly difficult, but they encourage you to explore the mansion and remember where you have been. The limited inventory can be frustrating at times, especially when you find an important item but have no room to carry it, but it also makes you plan your trips more carefully. The HD upgrade looks good overall. The environments are sharper, the character models look better and widescreen support makes the game feel much more comfortable on modern televisions. However, it is still very obvious that this is a game from 2002. Some backgrounds and cutscenes look dated, but the strong art direction helps the game hold up surprisingly well. The controls can take some getting used to, especially if you are accustomed to modern Resident Evil games. You can choose between the original style controls and a newer control option, but the fixed camera can sometimes make the newer controls confusing. Once you get used to the classic controls, they actually work quite well with the game's design. The story is simple but entertaining, with zombies, Umbrella, secret experiments and plenty of classic Resident Evil moments. Some of the dialogue is cheesy, but honestly, that is part of the charm. Resident Evil HD Remaster does have some flaws. There is quite a bit of backtracking, the inventory system can become annoying and the controls feel dated compared with modern games. However, these problems are also part of what gives the game its old school survival horror identity. Overall, Resident Evil HD Remaster is still an excellent game. It may take some patience to get used to its slower pace and older design, but once you get into it, the atmosphere and tension are incredibly effective. It does not need to completely reinvent Resident Evil because the 2002 remake was already fantastic. The HD Remaster simply gives that experience a cleaner presentation for modern players. Final Score: 8.5 out of 10 If you enjoy survival horror, Resident Evil HD Remaster is absolutely worth playing. It is old fashioned in some ways, but its atmosphere, exploration and resource management still hold up extremely well.
Extremely enjoyable the entire way through!
This remake of Resident Evil is my first real introduction to the RE franchise as a whole, so I shan't be comparing it to the original or commenting on what it improved or worsened. Overall, I had a great time going through the game for the first time, figuring out the puzzles, watching the cutscenes, playing all the difficulties, and just seeing everything the game has to offer. The amount of items you get always feels very well balanced throughout the game, no matter what difficulty you play on. I never felt completely starved for ammo or healing items. It felt like juuust enough to where you want do some slight resource management, but still be able to spend them without hoarding them. As you get through your first playthrough and go for a second or third one, you'll probably end up wasting less resources on things you can outright skip, and make it so you can cruise through the game with little to no challenge. Difficulty wise, I expected resource management to be the bulk of the challenge. Instead, most of the difficulty comes down to figuring out what to do and where to go. It isn't exactly a hard game, all things considered! If you do struggle, the easier difficulties provide such an abundance of items that getting through should be a breeze no matter how much trouble you're having with it. The game also gives you a perfect amount amount of ink ribbons on the highest difficulties, which made it feel like I was never in a deficit when I made significant progress and needed to save, so no complaints in that regard either. While I won't go into too much detail with the playable characters Chris and Jill, there are enough differences between them to make sure you have two uniquely fun experiences, rather than making it feel like you're replaying the exact same game with a different character model. It's recommended to play Jill first, since she has some benefits over Chris, but it's still up to you, since you'll still probably end up playing through the game with both of them anyways! I also think that the gameplay segments get progressively more fun as you go, since only the first segment felt a tiny bit repetitive during multiple playthroughs, but the rest stayed very enjoyable. As for personal complaints or things I disliked, I actually don't have ANY, but I will mention some things that could be negatives to some people. I feel like the fixed camera angles could be particularily annoying to people who choose to play on the "alternate" control scheme the game provides, instead of the "original (tank controls)". The only other thing that comes to mind could be the room entering animations that play when you go into a different area/room. It plays an animation that lasts around 5 seconds every time you leave or enter a place, which could be potentially annoying to people as well. I found that this feature added more of a charm to the game for me, not a hinderence, but it is a complaint I've heard before, so beware! Overall, the game is very unique and interesting to me, as the only similar game I've played is DMC, and this remake carries a ton of charm alongside its fun gameplay. There aren't any huge issues regarding the game or gameplay overall, though some people may have some things to nitpick about it, which is fine. Game is great fun, and I don't see why you shouldn't play this one as your introduction into the RE franchise!
Nota Geral | Overall Rating
Resident Evil HD Remaster is proof that classic Survival Horror ages well when treated with proper respect. Capcom took the 2002 GameCube remake, already considered by many to be the best horror game ever made, and modernized it visually without touching anything that made the original experience work. It's the Spencer Mansion in its definitive form, oppressive, labyrinthine, and genuinely terrifying, now accessible to an entire generation that never owned a GameCube.
Jogabilidade | Gameplay
The tank controls, which sound dated on paper today, are actually an essential part of what makes the game so tense: the movement limitation reinforces the character's vulnerability and turns every hallway into a calculated decision. Limited inventory management is the heart of the experience, every item carried is one less slot for ammo or healing, and going back to item boxes to reorganize resources becomes a genuine strategic ritual. The doors with loading screens, far from being an outdated technical limitation, work as a tension tool: you never know what's waiting on the other side. The environmental puzzles are clever and well integrated into the mansion, never feeling artificial.
The main campaign lasts between 8 and 10 hours on the first run, but the game is designed for multiple playthroughs, with two different protagonists, Chris and Jill, each with distinct items, encounters, and difficulty levels. The ranking system based on time and save usage encourages faster, optimized runs, and unlockables like special weapons give a real incentive to replay. It's a length that respects your time on the first playthrough while generously rewarding those who want to dig deeper.
Enredo | Story
The premise of the S.T.A.R.S. team investigating disappearances around Raccoon City and falling into the web of horrors at the Spencer Mansion is an absolute genre classic, and the remake expands that story with far more depth than the original 1996 game had room to explore. The introduction of new areas, like the underground tunnels and the laboratory, along with the development of the relationship between Umbrella's members and the experiments behind the viral outbreak, gives the narrative greater weight without ever losing the essential mystery that made the franchise take off. It's one of the best horror stories ever told in a game.
Visual
The pre-rendered backgrounds, updated to HD resolution, still impress today with their artistic quality. The Spencer Mansion is one of the best-built environments in the genre, with every room carrying details that tell small stories on their own, portraits hiding secret passages, dusty libraries, and the iconic entrance hall that became synonymous with survival horror. The fixed camera angles, far from being a limitation, are used cinematically and deliberately to create scares and hide threats outside your field of view. It's a visual style that has aged with a dignity few games of the era can match.
Audio
The sound design is essential to making the horror atmosphere work. The silence punctuated by creaking wood, the distant sound of zombies dragging their feet, and the minimalist soundtrack that kicks in at the right moments to intensify the dread, all of this builds constant tension even in empty hallways. The attack and creature sound effects are grotesque and impactful, and the voice acting, despite carrying a campy charm recognized by fans of the franchise, works well within the exaggerated tone the series has always had.
Play the game if: - you want to look at pretty backdrops (seriously, the mansion is gorgeous) - you are already a fan of this series - you don't mind moving in slo-mo the entire time - you have a lot of uninterrupted free time, because the save system is nonsensical Don't, if: - you expect functional gameplay - you want some clarity over where you can walk without consulting a map (sometimes the backdrops look confusing in this regard, and the "intended path" is akin to a secret) - you have arachnophobia. While there is a mod that removes the spiders, the webs remain - and very early on you will wander into corridors with webs (which you can't even turn away from, because of the fixed camera)
