Blending action and survival horror, Resident Evil 6 promises to be the dramatic horror experience of 2013.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

As mush as I wanted to say that re6 version Leon is my fav, I would like to dedicate this review to the forever goat Piers.
rest easy buddy.
Resident Evil 6 is the ultimate action movie simulator disguised as a horror game. I honestly don't understand why people hate this game so much. If you can look past the infamous "giraffe" in the game's logo, you are treated to four different campaigns packed with enough explosions to make Michael Bay jealous. The story was clearly written by a team of hyperactive toddlers fueled entirely by espresso. While the survival horror is completely dead, it completely makes up for it with hilarious co-op chaos, Leon Kennedy doing physics-defying backflips, and Chris Redfield being so ridiculously buff he could punch a meteor out of orbit. Let's not forget the ability to slide across the floor on your back like a tactical penguin while popping Tic-Tacs from a pill organizer to heal from rocket damage. The plot makes absolutely no sense and the QTEs will give your mechanical keyboard permanent PTSD, but suplexing zombies and drop-kicking mutants with your friends makes it all worth it. Buy it for the accidental comedy, stay for the absolute cinematic nonsense. 20/10, I still don't know who Ada Wong actually is.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

They risked their lives for me back in Raccoon City. Guess I'm still just, trying to live up to their example. Never giving up, no matter the odds.
RE6 has to be the worst entry in this revered series, but it is still the one I've had the most fun with, mostly due to the amount of time I spent yelling "HELENAAAAAAA"! xD That aspect aside, there were just sooooooo many memorable moments that I won't soon forget. In our first session, I watched Leon get bullseye targeted by a heat-seeking missile-ambulance that came out of nowhere... YOU JUST HAD TO SEE IT OKAY!? Even the silliest things like dropping from the top of a ladder onto Leon's toe and watching him stumble back 10 feet, having AI-controller Chris throw himself onto Sherry whilst she was climbing the ladder taking her clean out, or the time Leon decided he is strong enough to absorb a hail of bullets to protect Ada... BULLETS DUDE!!! God, how the heck was this game marketed as Resident Evil hahaha? It was just too much all the time, literally! Getting crushed by a tank twice? Check. Being chainsawed into pieces by the same boss ten times prompting a rage quit? Check. Being too slow to hide in a box so the boss just stands and watches your entry animation from 1m away whilst aura farming before utterly decimating you? Check, Lol. Even sprinting up an icy hill ended with me in stitches > a sniper laser suddenly trained on me > dove to dodge the shot > immediately found myself sledding 100m back down the ice, almost taking out my partner in the process haha. Or even the time I thought a camera turret was an enemy, when it was actually just my friend trolling, in control and shooting at me. And then there was the snowmobile section where I elected to admire the beautiful scenery (a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ avalanche Lol), and 2 seconds later found myself having driven straight off a cliff (eyes on the road at all times, FFS Jerome)!!! Can't forget the motorbike chase where I was too busy giving multiple hugs to bother shooting the horde of zombies, or that time I became Darth Sidious and, because of this game's god-awful camera angle transitions, ended up firing my lightning strike about 100 degrees off target—which somehow led to the floor collapsing and killing us both as punishment, Lol. There's no way I would've enjoyed this in single-player—absolutely none. This is a co-op game in every single way. Without a friend, the dated controls, repetitive missions, and jank would make anyone quit within an hour, but with someone else along for the ride, I promise you'll have one of the funniest gaming experiences in years.
Absurdo demais, mano!
A terrible Resident Evil game. In fact, it is an embarrassment to the series. Forget about being a good RE game; it isn't even a good action game. It is a wretched, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game in every sense. Don't go near it without wearing a mask you might throw up from the stench of ♥♥♥♥.
I can definitely see why Resident Evil 6 is so divisive, but I honestly enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. It takes the series in a completely different direction, focusing almost entirely on action, and while that wasn't what a lot of fans wanted, it's still a fun game on its own. The combat has a surprising amount of depth, the co-op is a blast, and switching between the different campaigns helps keep things from feeling too repetitive. The biggest downside is definitely the writing. The story tries to juggle too many characters and plotlines at once, so it ends up feeling messy and overly dramatic. Some chapters also go on longer than they need to, and the constant explosions and set pieces can get exhausting after a while. Even with all that, I still think it's worth playing. If you stop comparing it to the older Resident Evil games and just enjoy it as an over-the-top action game, there's a lot of fun to be had.
I thought replaying Resident Evil 6 after a decade would give me a different perspective on the game. But guess what? It doesn't even run properly on Windows 11. I checked Reddit and PCGamingWiki, tried every fix I could find, but nothing worked. I gave up. Good luck if you decide to try this piece of work.
