Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8/day in the week to Sep 10 → 26.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Lots of potential but is fairly poorly executed currently. It all comes down to the brakes... its just completely wrong and braking in this game does not in any way mimic reality... ive seen reviews that suggest the cars just don't turn and the handling is poor or overly difficult and really its not the handling... when the tyres brake traction under braking they will continue forward and you will end up off the road, upsetting the balance of the car is realistic, the way the body weight shifts is realistic, the tyre wall compression etc etc it all feels good but it SHOULD all be manageable and its not because of the ineffectiveness of the brakes. Nothing makes this more evident than driving a modern rally car on the correct tyres on tarmac roads... 100% brake with ABS should stop the car almost instantly from low speed as the tyres bite into the tarmac but in this game the cars just don't stop that way, you always just gradually roll to a stop even from the lowest speeds. Imagine performing an emergency stop in real life, when the car comes to a stop you are thrown forward and then backwards into your seat as the momentum of the car stops going forward and shifts backwards slightly... just does not happen in this game. 100% braking feels like 60-70% maximum and that then makes entering most corners unpredictable, the car does not slow as you expect it should so you turn in late as you understeer into the surrounding forests. Im not really sure why the developers have not understood this while playing the game. Has nobody just crawled around at low speed to see how the car behaves on braking, its terrible and something they could quite easily fix i imagine. Besides that in typical AC fashion, content is very light and will probably remain that way, there really is no core to the game, its essentially a relatively fleshed out demo at best.

Summary: I don't see myself playing any other rally game anytime soon. Highly recommend this title. (NOTE: current version is 0.4) Background: As a Linux (proton) user, with a Logitech G29 (923), my rally game experience consists of Dirt Rally 1 and 2. The later Codemasters titles have some anti-cheat spyware nonsense, which meant no WRC or later titles for Linux users. <Shrug> I'm happy to vote with my dollar. This game is taking some getting used to compared to DRx, mostly to tweak controls and get accustomed to a lower field of view in the default camera settings. This can make tight turns feel slow/sluggish, and it takes used to braking at "low" speeds because you're probably going faster than you think. So far I'd say that turns "3" or tighter feel little less grippy than I'm used to in DRx, and definitely require more deliberate braking. Even so after a little while I was holding my own in dry conditions based on my DRx experience, and by that point there was basically no turning back. Everything is better. The DRx menus could be navigated almost entirely by using my G29 wheel, which is not so much the case with ACR. That said, I've come to like the ACR menu system better and their tuning system laid out nicely and has good descriptions. (NOTE: Setting handbrake power to about 1.44 will roughly match DRx handbrake settings, but this is a car-specific tuning setting. It would be good to have a global multiplier.) Dry tarmac and gravel conditions just feel like ::chef's kiss:: in this game, They feel just right and I have no complaints there. Even RWD vehicles just feel way better to drive than the death traps I knew from DRx. The map selection for "unlocking" cars feels a little redundant at this point, but the maps are very high quality so far. (I haven't even played all the locations, but this gripe pertains only to the car trial stages.) I always felt that DR2 consistently rubbed in your face that you weren't the fastest driver on the planet. You complete a stage feeling great about how you did, and you're placed 24/30 against super-AI or placed 121th out of "the world". I'm sure there are some crazy good DR2 players out there, and maybe I'm not one of them, but basically every race was ended with a reminder that I actually suck compared to the best DR2 players out there in the world, and I can basically forget ever "winning" again. It gets old. So far my experience with ACR has been rather a pleasant surprise. The "world records" results are in a separate page, and your single-player stage times are basically compared to reasonably good, but not impossible AI. In most cases I've found it possible to place highly against the listed times. I'm sure I'll never set a world record in this or any rally game, but for once it feels good to be able to "win", dammit. A fast stage with no mistakes will probably win a "gold" medal, and that's actually a pretty simple and effective reward system. My main complaint is that wet and snow conditions, as of 0.4, seem WAY too slippery. Maybe this is some consequence of the camera settings, or maybe the developers actually live in a place that rains KY Jelly instead of water, but rain just feels *wrong* in this game. If real life was like ACR, it would be a driving apocalypse every time it rained with accidents everywhere. Ford Mustangs would literally explode the very minute traction control is turned off and any precipitation hits the car. In these conditions I'm content to move on with "bronze"... maybe later versions will improve. Overall, easily a 9/10 game and I only see it getting better. The only way they can ruin it, IMHO, is to add anti-cheat spyware nonsense. I hate to even utter the phrase because the idea might take root and lay eggs, but it's a horrible idea. DEVELOPERS, for the love of God if you want to add anti-cheat then fine, but at least preserve the ability to play "offline" / single-player on Linux without it. I couldn't care less if my results never get uploaded, I just want to drive with my Penguin co-pilot and enjoy a great rally game, on Linux, and ACR checks all the boxes. Please don't break that.
Not bad at all. Devs: please add Finland (interesting how it's going to be with jumps). And customizable settings (deadzone, linearity etc) for camera input
Played on direct drive, with load cells. They need to fix braking. My peugeot 106 with drum brakes can outperform this cars in braking. Without locking up the wheels, without ABS, on asphalt... From 70 km/h to 0 it takes ages for this cars to stop...
One of the best rally games I've played since Dirt Rally and Dirt Rally 2.0. Still in Early Access with some flaws, but the foundations are already amazing. The future looks very promising.
Это же насколько меня сильно фрустрировала Forza Horizon 6, что впервые жизни купил себе симулятор и ни разу не пожалел об этом
太硬核了,模拟器玩家可以入,手柄键盘玩家慎入
Even in early access this is already the best rally sim you can play. Coming from Dirt 2, which is also a great game, this one feels like a generational leap in realism and accuracy. The physics exceed my expectations. Really looking forward to future updates.
Right now? No, since the game force feedback is awful and numb. I have a Moza R9 and whatever I do force feedback is lacking, minimal and really weak and vague. But there is a lot of potential in the game, we need to see what the developers will manage to bring out of it. Content regarding cars and stages seem great, but driving itself is awful due to FFB...
