The Mortuary Assistant

I would like to preface this review by saying that, deep down, at its core, this is actually a surprisingly cozy little game. Embalming fluid preparation. Careful documentation. The gentle, methodical rhythm of prepping a body for burial. Genuinely relaxing stuff. Very soothing. Very ASMR. If only the demons would let me enjoy it. Every single time I settled into the quiet, meditative groove of my job, some horrifying entity would show up at the edge of the room politely but firmly requesting that I abandon the autopsy table immediately, please, right now, thank you, and honestly the sheer audacity of asking me to leave a task half finished is possibly the scariest part of this entire experience. I have never had my professional work ethic personally attacked by a demon before. Deeply rude. If I have one complaint, it's that some of the jump scares lean a little heavy handed compared to the quieter, creepier moments, which honestly do more heavy lifting on their own.

My friend gifted me this game hoping it would scare me to death. Joke's on her, because it actually made me completely immune to fear. Now I'm just casually embalming corpses at 2 AM like it's a cozy farming simulator. Thanks for the gift tho, me and the ghosts are literally best friends now.

As a horror games fan I must say that this is one of the scariest games I have played so far (And I played many) the story is interesting, the tense atmosphere and the jump scares frighten the ♥♥♥♥ out of me, and the fact that you can even change the frequency of jump scares is awesome. I definitely recommend this game. I also like that they added "embalming bodies without demons scaring you" cause the job itself is pretty interesting.

Sou formada em auxiliar de necropsia, mais especificamente em tanatopraxia, e realmente fiquei muito surpresa com a gameplay do jogo. Deu para ver o quanto a empresa se esforçou e colocou carinho nesse projeto. A gameplay foi muito intuitiva desde o começo e fui seguindo quase sem nem ver o que era preciso ser feito, pois realmente é muito parecido com as técnicas e os instrumentos que existem aqui fora (claro, sem a parte sobrenatural). Confesso que seria bem mais divertido se na vida real eu enfrentasse demônios e aparições no trabalho! Excelente trabalho!! 10/10

Drain the blood, stitch the mouth shut, [b] and pray the corpse doesnt try to hug me while im looking for a marker D: [/b] [h3] getting bullied by demons wasnt exactly in the job description [/h3] but apparently, its a package deal. its the only game where you are more afraid of the silence than the screaming and where even a shadow on the wall looks like your death warrant. if u want to develop a lifelong phobia of fridges and body bags,[b] i highly recommend it, just make sure to buy a fresh pack of underwear along with the game [/b]

Let me tell you...when my father died (I was 7 years old) , I became my mother's movie buddy. I watched ALL the best horror movies of the 80's/90's with that woman. I pride myself on being UNSCARABLE. This game gave me the heebie jeebies! This game freaked me THE F*&K OUT!! What an experience!! I encountered some initial blips, forceps were missing etc 1 hour of playtime was me just trying to rotate that mf gurney around!! But... once I got into the swing of things, oh boy!! I'm having SO MUCH FUN with this game. If you like horror, please give this a go. You will NOT be disappointed I promise you

Огромное спасибо Mechanics VoiceOver за великолепную русскую озвучку. + 100% к погружению в игру. (гораздо лучше, чем оригинал, по моему мнению) Единственная игра в таком жанре, которая действительно пугает на протяжении всей игры. Играть желательно ночью и в наушниках. Пройдено 28.03.2026
