Before the mansion, before the destruction of Raccoon City, there was Resident Evil 0. Now remastered with improved visuals and sounds, as well as the all-new Wesker Mode, there's never been a better time to experience the origins of the Resident Evil story.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Just started this game a couple days ago after beating RE1 HD Remaster with 100%. This is my first time experiencing Resident Evil and I'm really enjoying it for the most part and it's the first game I really just sat down and watched every cutscene from beginning to end. However, I will never understand why they felt the need to remove storage boxes in this game. It's such a bizarre decision. We wanted the ability to drop items which they gave us in this game but it seems to be at the cost of storage boxes? But since I've already experienced RE1, I was ready for some of the back tracking and other nuances. I'm still at the training facility and will update this review once I get the 100%.
Great game, a bit annoying, but still a very solid entry in the classic Resident Evil series. Graphics are excellent. The pre-rendered backgrounds are gorgeous, with an incredible amount of detail and lighting that still holds up remarkably well today. The train, the training facility, the church, the laboratory, and the rest of the locations all have their own atmosphere and personality. Character models are very detailed, and the enemy animations are generally very good, although some creatures can feel a little awkward at times. Sound effects are fantastic. The zombies, monsters, footsteps, gunshots, and environmental sounds all help build the game's tense atmosphere. The soundtrack is excellent, alternating between eerie silence and unsettling music at just the right moments. Voice acting is decent overall. It's certainly better than the original Resident Evil, although some dialogue still has that classic cheesy Resident Evil charm. Gameplay is great and very engaging. The classic tank controls return, although the remaster also offers modern controls that somehow are worse. Can't count the number of times I died because of the sudden change of camera and the controls delivering my character straight to the zombies instead of away. As always, the game rewards careful movement rather than rushing into every encounter. Ammunition and healing resources are very limited, more than in previous games; I had to restart from previous saves multiple times because of running out of ammo or healing. The biggest addition is the partner system. Instead of controlling a single character, you constantly switch between Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen, each with their own strengths. You can control them independently, leave one behind to solve puzzles or cover different areas, and even have the AI assist you during combat. It's a great mechanic that adds a fresh layer of strategy to exploration and puzzle solving. Inventory management is probably the most awful thing about the game, aside from doors (you can't skip door animations). Instead of using item boxes, like in the previous games, you can drop items almost anywhere and return for them later. I don't know who thought that was a good idea, but it's frustrating as hell. Not only do you not have a centralized place to retrieve items, but also you can't reliably pick them up because of camera angles and weird positioning. Just use the item box mod, which adds an item box to every typewriter, and the skip doors mod, and you will spare yourself a lot of frustration. Exploration remains one of the game's strongest aspects. The environments are interconnected, puzzles are satisfying to solve, and discovering new keys and shortcuts makes progression rewarding. Some puzzles require clever use of both characters, making the partner mechanic feel meaningful rather than just a gimmick. The enemies are excellent and continue to encourage different strategies. Zombies remain dangerous, hunters are as deadly as ever, and some of the new creatures introduced in this game are genuinely memorable. The leech-based enemies add a unique identity to Resident Evil 0, even when they become very annoying during repeated encounters. The story is good and expands the events leading directly into the original Resident Evil. Rebecca Chambers receives much more character development, while Billy Coen is a surprisingly likable new protagonist. Some story elements become a bit over-the-top near the end and ruin the overall story, but for the most part, it's an entertaining prequel that adds interesting lore to the series. In short, great game, a bit annoying, but still well worth experiencing. It isn't quite as polished as the Resident Evil HD Remake, and some gameplay mechanics can be frustrating, but it remains a fun survival horror game with excellent atmosphere, memorable locations, and an interesting partner system. If you're a fan of the classic Resident Evil games, definitely give this one a chance.
its ass 100% ass but after i finish it i miss getting tortured
