Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I think the game is overall okay. The gameplay loop is extremely basic, and the one gimmick it has (leveling through picking up dead enemies remains) is fun but most never really have a big impact on gameplay. You have camp-building mechanics, but the options are fairly limited and there isn't any clear rewards to do so. No automations of harvesting, ranching, etc, so you're still doing all the bloody work. Overall the game kinda feels undercooked, potential to be great but never quite reaching it. The progression in the game is extremely linear - while the game offers "Endless exploration", the reasons for said exploration are fairly limited. From the start of the game, you've basically told "Go kill X boss to unlock Dungeon Level 1" That recipe then repeats itself for the entire game. "Go kill Y boss at the deepest level of the dungeon you can go to unlock the next level of the dungeon" And you cannot skip this, as the game literally kills you if you dare explore further than the last boss you've killed. So 90% of the game is spent digging underground in dank dark caves to reach the next objective monster and gathering resources while doing so. The game has a lot of systems, but not a lot of variety. Weapon damage, ranged damage, evasion, HP, and defense are the 5 stats you'll have to contend with, and then you have like, 5 weapon types that all have their own tier progression that is also pretty linear to the progression level you're at. You have a few "monster-tier" alternatives with interesting effects, but otherwise you're expected to swap those weapons and armor often or the numbers will scale and you won't. All of these systems feels awkwardly woven together, never really making a cohesive sum. There's a replica system to make a combat follower, and a pet system. One requires you to farm fetch-quest in villages to get improvement points (yay fetch quests!), the pet system requires luck to find one that has a perk/ability you like, and then requires progression as well.

Keplerth: A Deeply Addictive Sci-Fi Survival Sandbox Masterpiece
Keplerth is a phenomenal and criminally underrated 2D sci-fi survival RPG that masterfully combines the distinct visual charm of RimWorld with the exploration, crafting, and boss-battling progression of Terraria. Developed by TARO, this indie gem drops you onto a hostile alien planet and grants you total freedom to build, farm, mutate your DNA, and conquer deep underground dungeons. Whether you are playing entirely solo or surviving with friends in co-op, it delivers an incredibly rich, deep, and satisfying sandbox experience.
🛸 A Staggering Loop of Exploration and Dungeon Crawling
The progression loop in Keplerth is exceptionally rewarding. You start as a stranded survivor with nothing but rags, but you quickly progress to building automated defenses, high-tech weapon systems, and expansive farms. The world exploration is driven by a fantastic layer system—the deeper you venture into the planet’s underground dungeons, the more dangerous the alien biomes become, and the rarer the resources you find. Fighting your way through hordes of unique alien factions and massive, screen-filling bosses feels incredibly satisfying and tactical.
🧬 Revolutionary Genetic Modification and Pets
What truly sets Keplerth apart from other survival sandboxes is its brilliant gene-editing system. Instead of just relying on armor and weapons, you can harvest alien DNA to completely alter your character's stats, unlocking unique combat perks, passive abilities, and custom builds. Additionally, the game features a highly robust pet and mount system. You can tme almost any alien creature you encounter, breed them, train them to fight alongside you, or ride them into battle, adding a massive layer of personal customization to your playthrough.
🏡 Excellent Base Building and Colony Management
Building your home base in Keplerth is a joy. The construction mechanics are intuitive and highly detailed, allowing you to design fortified outposts to withstand regular enemy raids. As you progress, you can even rescue and recruit NPCs to live in your settlement, assigning them tasks like farming, crafting, or defending the perimeter. It successfully captures that cozy, organizing feeling of running a small, high-tech colony while still keeping the main focus on your personal character’s grand adventure.
⚠️ Drawbacks
Because the game borrows heavily from successful titans like RimWorld and Terraria, it can occasionally feel a bit derivative, lacking a purely unique identity in its core survival mechanics. The combat, while flashy and fun, can sometimes turn into a chaotic grind, especially when dealing with massive enemy swarms in the deeper dungeon levels where precise dodging becomes difficult. However, the sheer volume of content and the fluid co-op integration make these minor critiques easy to ignore.
🏆 Conclusion
Keplerth is a triumphant indie sandbox that deserves way more mainstream spotlight. It beautifully fuses tactical colony building with high-stakes action RPG exploration, resulting in a game that is almost impossible to put down once you start optimizing your base and your genes. For fans of sci-fi survival, deep crafting systems, and addictive progression loops, this title is a mandatory addition to your library. A true sci-fi diamond in the rough that delivers endless hours of pure gaming fun.
Rating: 9/10
i would recoments this game, havn't beated it but it's been enjoyable. i'd give it a 7/10, its almost a perfect love child between nessese and rimworld, but it's missing alot of QOL and it's just a foundation of what could've been, still i have enjoyed the game so far, get it on sale if your on the fence.
Update the damn game already.
This is a really fun game, I have tried so many lately and what I am looking for is simple. There has to be some sense of progression, some sense of lore, and some wacky bings and pings of finding loot. Why is that important, just because. it is. There has to be some sense of satisfaction playing any game. We are not here to live our own lives but the more action packed lives of our toons. This is well done my friend, I really like it. I am fairly new player as you see but if this fine game is unfinished I would strongly suggest you do so. The art itself deserves it.
It is a great action crafting survivor-type RPG. But the story is not too great, and the AI is quite stupid, so the stick trap is OP.
Rushed ah game LMAO. it feels like everything is too generic and nothing stands out. It’s like a ripoff of RimWorld with only minor changes. They should have added more to the story, characters, enemies, and resources. Overall, the game feels lacking and not worth its price. It honestly feels like playing something that’s still in development.
