Before the mansion, before the destruction of Raccoon City, there was Resident Evil 0. Now remastered with improved visuals and sounds, as well as the all-new Wesker Mode, there's never been a better time to experience the origins of the Resident Evil story.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Resident Evil 0 was the very first game I played in the series, and it's the one that made me fall in love with it and dive deeper into the franchise. At first it was pretty tough for me to get used to the controls but over time I got used to it and actually really liked it. It felt like a classic style tied to the older games. The atmosphere is awesome, the story is great, and the characters are amazing. Such a fantastic start to a legendary series.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

JUEGAZO.

One of the more challenging entries in the series. You have to manage heals and ammunition more, and enemies do more damage. As well as there being multiple sections in the game where you have to play as both characters, which can be tedious at times. But, the gameplay rewards the player for persevering with different loot and puzzles in each section. The story is also pretty interesting and explains the origins of multiple characters.
Consider this a neutral review rather than negative because there will be frustrations when playing but if you're looking to play some Resident Evil, this one is not too bad but it's not that good either. The biggest pain points are:

Inventory management is horrendous. You get 2 characters, each has 6 slots to carry. Some items (the worst being a "key" item, that is a grappling hook you must use a few times) occupy 2 slots. If you want to mix herbs or collect items for later, you will spend half the time playing backtracking and placing items down on the ground where you can remember they are. Want to play warehouse worker simulator in a zombie apocalypse setting?
I'm not a fan of alternating between 2 characters while the character you aren't controlling is controlled by the AI, that tends to carelessly waste precious and scarce ammo (especially shotgun ammo) on lowest threat enemies like Leeches or Crows or firing the shotgun at regular Zombies. Sure, you can tell your partner to hold fire but you'll forget to command to open fire as soon as you need your partner to fire and you'll sustain damage by the time you do.
The game is difficult with a few boss fights but not unbeatable. You'll find yourself optimizing and perfecting boss runs by having to load the save before the boss fight and try again and adjust and >you may barely be equipped enough to pass that< and precisely that is the painpoint here - this ties in with the conserving ammo and healing items issue mentioned above.
Runs good on Linux and Proton but with some "minor" visual artifacts in some levels (colored lines/rays, red streaks) but not game breaking. See https://www.protondb.com/app/339340
amazing game
Aged like ♥♥♥♥ just watch a walkthrough
I'm so mixed on this game, but it's good enough for me to give it a positive review. Expect a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, really annoying backtracking, and an incredible inventory management system. (There is no item box.)
