About
Set in a huge open world reminiscent of the Americas during the golden age of steam trains, Railroads Online puts you in the role of a pioneer helping to shape the future of America. Build tracks, traverse vast landscapes in various steam locomotives, transport goods to earn money, and customize and buy new locomotives and equipment as you grow to become a railroad tycoon. Play alone or with up to 15 friends in the online cooperative multiplayer mode on 4 different large maps including Lake Valley, Aurora Falls, Pine Valley and Mesa Plains.
Tracks, trains & more
Design your dream rail network from the ground up. Explore the world, scout the best route and lay down embankments, switches, turntables and more. Select and build tracks, bridges and other infrastructure buildings afterwards. Then cross the vast, open landscape in finely detailed locomotives and wagons. Interact with regulators, valves, brakes, couplers, and many more features in first-person view as you drive your vehicles. But you won't simply be driving around aimlessly! Your mission is to build up your company by transporting goods across the country, including timber, ore, coal, cattle, gold and other various freight items for a broad variety of industries. Earn money for every successful shipment and invest in new vehicles or upgrade and customize your existing locomotives. Plus: build stations, yards, and other infrastructure along your routes to service your trains with fuel, water, and sand. You can also build up a wide variety of iconic buildings and objects to create a beautiful surrounding for your railroad network.

Choo choo autism simulator of 2026.
Its a barely decent game if you have a PC made of steel, The graphics driver crashes all the time just trying to load in a map, You can't customise any of your locomotives or rolling stock after you buy them, The tutorials aren't imformitive at all leaving you to figure it out on your own, Its not laptop friendly and if you even turn down the graphics by one setting the entire game looks like crap so its either fancy graphics that makes your computer explode or pixilated polygons, If you set it to Directx12 the game just crashes over and over and you cant change it or do anything either then unistall the 30 gygebite Game and reinstall it, EACH UPDATE REQUIRES 30 GIGS OF STORAGE FOR NO REASON, honestly its better to wait for century of steam, THE GAME ALL THE DEVS THAT LEFT ARE WORKING ON THAT LOOKS WAY BETTER, and the dlcs don't add much either, please spare yourself from this buggy mess. Update: 1 sorry hming, 2 i got the game working again but it is still blue screening me, This game did take a major part in my history on steam and built my entire friend group and i'll give it that, it is a nice game if you have a nice pc but if you have a laptop than it probably will crash on aurora falls and mesa plains with prelaid track, The locomotives are nice but this is meant to be a realistic simulator and i have a porter doing a 10% grade no problem? The betsy shouldn't be able to scale a mountain and certainly not the mallet or class 25, My statement does still stand, This is a GAME and less of a REALISTIC SIM, A realistic simulator would be Derail Valley, Railroader, Or the upcoming CoS developed by ex developer Hyce. If i could do neutral i would, Its a game and if you like what the game has to offer don't let this review stop you, and to the 3 people who found this helpful please check back here because i was wrong, It is a nice game but just not my cup of tea in terms of games now, don't let me stop you.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

GREAT GAME BUT WHAT HAPPENED ??????????? ABANDONED ???????????
I was doing a new tack layout for about 4 and half hours to a new location then about 30mins of the 4 &1/2 hours my train that was worth 3,600k suddenly derailed, deleted itself from the world and when I tried to undo the change it never returned. Not only that when I saved my game, The game CRASHED and no longer saved the 4 & and half hours of saved tracked layout! This is by far the worse game experience that has a problem in saving a load world and by far has a problem with its saving option and having the destroy function next to the Re-rail tool makes it even worse. I am not happy of any form with having to make large layouts only to suddenly lose all works!
recently multiplayer buggy as hell
I really want to enjoy playing this game but I can't. Too many poor design choices and bugs.
I pressed refund after 1 hour and 50 minutes most of the time trying to figure the game out the rest being afk this really aint worth it
Game keeps crashing after a few minutes of game play seems to be between 10-30 minutes, I have played this game in the past and it never crashed as much as it does now
This game is very fun, with all the engines to choose from, nice scenery, and much more, BUT there are some game breaking bugs that the developers are not fixing. Its a nice game for the most part, but if you buy it, be ready for some serious bugs and frustration. If i were you, I'd buy Railroader, Derail Valley, or just wait for Century Of Steam.
