Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

visuals are amazing. runs smooth as butter. the combat slaps. the parry focused gameplay is smooth and rewarding, with the multiple types of block/parry to fit your playstyle. even with the limited arsenal of weapons and shells there is a ton of build variety. mortal shell 2 is a fun and well made game... but ENOUGH OF THE CHEAP DEATHS!!! only negative thing i have encountered is the amount of times i have died a ''cheap'' death. i'm not talking enemy behind a corner (which there are lot of). i'm talking the infuriating times i died to a explosive barrel that can kill you through your shell. that are behind a wall that i needed to break or in a dark room with tons of enemies. or a homing unblockable attack that also insta kills you. things like this feel cheap and ruins the fun, especially with some of the run backs that this game has... so much gloom lost ;-; Mortal shell 2 is 9/10 game.
Big Yes with even bigger BUT. currently every loading screen is 50/50 if you'll have to hard reboot your pc. at least a crash is expected every other loading or fast travel. Personally, agter 80 minutes, I'm taking a break to wait for a day one patch.
Peak and worth the money!!!
game difficulty is way overtuned. needs a little balancing. the beta was too easy, the release is far too difficult. there are problems with the mobs rubberbanding to you after you dodge. a difficult game is fine, but one that is unfair, like that, isn't. They need to work on this and perhaps tune the dmg/health down a little. But frankly its not really enjoyable anymore.
When you die it's often a lengthy trek back to your 'gloom'; it'd otherwise be manageable, but the game keeps crashing... If you crash before recovering your gloom, it's permanently lost. I've had 3 crashes in ~3 hours, the last one wiping out a fat stack. It's also not especially well optimized (like I've seen others claim).
