Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I tried desperately to enjoy this game, I promise I did. Everything about the design of this game is engineered to inhibit you from having an enjoyable experience. Endlessly gather resources to endlessly upgrade facilities ever so slightly. It got to a point where I started legitimately cheating in an effort to alleviate some of the tedium, and even THEN no luck. I could not, in good faith, recommend this game to anyone but an absolute masochist. I've heard people say that this game is Metal Gear Solid V if it were a survival game, but that's genuinely insulting to both MGSV and the genre of survival games. There's probably over two dozen survival games that are not only better designed, more respectful of your time, and have enjoyable game-play loops, BUT all those games also don't have a weird predatory cash shop and dead servers. If this game is on sale for literally $0.01 I'd recommend genuinely throwing that $0.01 in a river, because it would be more satisfying than anything this game would possibly provide top you. That's not even mentioning the horribly dull story and characters. Don't be fooled by video essayists that send you to this game, they're farming clicks by making an intentionally controversial video. This game is genuine trash.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I honestly don't know why this game got hated on as much as it did, its a little tedious at times but what the game is, is a metal gear themed zombie survival game with an engaging enough story and fun base building mechanics... its a fun experience
After replaying this game on PC, I've grown to like it more compared to when I played it during launch week on Xbox in 2018. Despite this, I'm still giving Metal Gear Survive a negative review. As a game on it's own, I don't think it's a bad game. I now find it quite enjoyable. However, even with my new found enjoyment of this game, it'll never become a good Metal Gear game. That's why this is a negative review. Konami shouldn't make Metal Gear games like this. What happened to the amazing cinematography Metal Gear is known for? It was in the opening of the game, but as soon as you reach Dite it's gone. Replaced by "cut-scenes" with just text boxes. There are cut-scenes sometimes, but they're nowhere near as capturing as Metal Gear SHOULD be. The twist of this game's story is highly predictable, and most of the missions are fetch quests with some defense sprinkled in. This just isn't a Metal Gear game. There's some parts where I see effort to make it feel like one, but it's not enough to save it. A good game on it's own, but it'll always be a terrible Metal Gear game. Don't make another Metal Gear game like this Konami.
- Be me - Play the game from Steam Deck - Got a disconnection error screen while playing (Steam still connected) - Kicked out to login screen - Lost every progress had Remove the nasty DRM. I understand games nowadays require this to prevent hacking, but always-online is absurd.
9/10, kinda weird nobody talks about the oiled up zombie twerk scene...
"I forgot to save simulator." I'd like to start out by saying the game in and of itself isn't bad. Its a little clunky, but the overall gameplay is decent. However, the games only save function is when you enter your base camp, while several of the missions have you traversing far from home. Because of this, you can easily lose hours of progress due to various reasons, including failing an objective they forgot to brief you on, death, random server disconnects, and being automatically logged out because you had to go AFK for 5 minutes because your cat got stuck in the toaster again. All in all its a decent game that makes me not want to play it due to an infuriating save system.
Always online is a cancer on gaming.
Incredibly fun multiplayer base defense game that forces you to constantly interact with an absolutely miserable single player survival game that checks all the mobile game boxes, from progress gated by real world timers to endless, repetitive material farming to restock your ammunition and consumables. It's a real shame, too, because the weight of the combat and the intensity of the multiplayer sessions make for a great time with friends, but the single player grind you have to tolerate to engage with it is truly insufferable, and I promise you, there is no way to simply avoid engaging with it. You will wind up hitting softlocks in your multiplayer progress thanks to real world timers, staff levels, or resource availability in the single player portion of the game. Avoid unless you have an extremely high tolerance to the exhausting mobile game elements. If you can put up with them, the multiplayer's a real banger, but as I progress further into haghood, I just don't have the patience anymore.
Not at all a Metal Gear game but a great Survival game. Really fun up until the post game. Then it got wayyy to grindy. But no where near bad as people mad it out to be. All because some some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ youtuber like dunky made the game have a bad rep. Content creators ruin gaming.
Whoever at Konami OK'd this piece of garbage should be strapped to a rocket and launched into the stratosphere
