It's MGS. If you give it a negative review for being a PS1 game you're stupid, it literally is what you're buying, maybe read for once.
Honestly the port is atrocious, better to save money and use a real PS1 emulator or just buy the pc version at GOG (idk why they didnt use this version in the first place). About the game, its finee. By today's standards the story is very simple (reminds me of those old animes that needed every moment to be emotional and the character dying always said all his backstory and motivations), and the gameplay has some questionable design choices at certain points, but overall its impressive for its time.

Une icone à découvrir et (re)découvrir. Qui n'a jamais entendu les mots "Metal Gear" de toute sa vie ? Vous êtes Solid Snake et vous devez arrêter une menace terroriste dont des personnages hauts en couleur pour des ennemis . . . bon en fait faut pas me demander de raconter/d'expliquer une histoire, j'ai déjà oublié pourquoi je suis là. Cependant, Metal Gear ne fait pas comme tous les jeux. Ici, le quatrième mur vidéoludique s'emboite parfaitement avec des discussions disons . . . pas communs avec nos alliés et même nos ennemis. Quoi ? Vous voulez des exemples ? Bon sang, je vous ai déjà dit que je ne sais pas ce que je fous ici. . . Et je dis pas ça parce que j'ai pas découvert le jeu à l'époque. . . voyons hein ? En fait, j'ai pas assez joué, je voulais juste voir le temps d'un weekend gratuit ce que ça donnait : même si le gameplay me parait vieillot, bah merde, tout le reste est là pour vous retourner le cerveau. C'est pas un jeu Metal Gear Solid, c'est une expérience d'une vie. . . pourquoi je vous raconte ça déjà ? Mais tout le monde connait le Metal Gear ! Et pour les néophytes bah . . . faut prendre son mal en patience parfois dans des missions . . . ou alors checker vite fait une soluce parce que vous êtes trop aveugles . . . comme moi . . . je veux pas me sentir seul dans mes déboires, purée. Est-ce que j'y continuerai d'y jouer ? . . . seule l'envie me dictera. Bon, un peu de sérieux : j'ai lu des avis de joueurs que cette édition reprend exactement la même version de la PS1, j'imagine qu'ils veulent dire que c'est pas une version HD avec de meilleures affichages détaillées et qu'en plus y'a même pas du 60 fps, à ce qu'il parait. Je vais être honnête : j'ai même pas fait attention, surement par effet de découverte. Si vous n'êtes pas regardant sur ça et que vous voulez découvrir un jeu culte, alors pour 20 balles, je ne pense pas que vous allez être déçu (au pire attendez un petit promo à 10 balles). Sur ce, je m'en vais lurker dans ma boite, car la menace n'est jamais très loin . . .
