Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I picked this game up after suddenly remembering StampyLongHead/StampyLongNose playing it foreverrrrr ago. It's still a beautiful point n click adventure game with a fun story. Some of the puzzles can be confusing but I overall think it's worth a playthrough!
Let’s get the negatives, shall we? - The second half of the game is noticeably weaker than the first. Act 1 flows naturally with intuitive puzzles and strong pacing, but Act 2 suddenly becomes far more convoluted and occasionally frustrating. One particular puzzle took me way too long than necessary. - The pacing can drag whenever you get stuck. Since the game relies heavily on puzzle progression, one frustrating solution can completely stall the emotional momentum of the story. - The speedrun achievement. The meh: - Reusing environments in the second act hurts the sense of discovery a bit. Despite so, I think the game justifies and utilize the use of the reused environment. Since the second act's puzzle has some required knowledge for map navigation and we have been basically familiarized ourselves with them already. - While the initial side cast characters are strong, but there's a lack of SEEN resolution to them in. Now for the positives: - The presentation is absolutely gorgeous. The art style is handpainted and I couldn't ask for more. I like it. - The writing is neat, with a bit of stumble here and there but nothing too crazy. - Both protagonists Vella and Shay has their own pro and cons in term of characterization. But I like them enough as two unmet duos. - The voice acting is fantastic across the board. I guess that's to be expected cause I recognize some of the voices and they are from talented people but oh well, I was going in the game quite blind. - The soundtrack is beautiful and does a lot to sell both the whimsical and emotional sides of the story. The frustrating thing is that Act 1 is so strong that the flaws in Act 2 stand out even more. The first half feels effortless and magical, while the second half leans harder into puzzle adventure game frustration than it probably should have. If you enjoy narrative-driven adventure games and can tolerate a few obtuse puzzles, there’s a lot to love here. If I had to score it, I’d probably give it a solid 7.5 out of 10. It's not a complete package that I absolutely adored, and in comparison to some adventure games I already have played, I would have liked to see more. But overall, it's still a decent game for some decent playtime sunken in!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Опробовано на Steam Deck

While this game was fun and quaint, I unfortunately can not recommend it due to Double Fine being part of Xbox Game Studios Mircosoft (the owners of Xbox) is currently giving aid and technology to murder Palestinians and apartheid Because of that, I can not recommend buying this game or anything other Double Fine game
I have a hard time finishing videogames. Which is wild in a family of gamers. Not only have I finished this, I have replayed it a few times now both on steam and on my switch. It's not a cozy game in the cozy game sense, but it's cozy to me in the way a good familiar story is. It's fun, the voice acting is great, and the animation is absolutely my style. Definitely recommend!
Like watching a generic Disney cartoon except you're in charge of making the protagonist move. Probably a great time if you like that sort of thing. I don't like that sort of thing.
A Game of Two Halves I really enjoyed Act 1 of Broken Age. The story, art style, characters and user interface all worked really well, and the puzzles were simple enough to keep the adventure moving without interrupting the flow of the game. It captured that classic point-and-click feeling with a modern presentation. Unfortunately, Act 2 is where the game loses its way. The puzzles become increasingly nonsensical, with some feeling more like trial-and-error exercises than logical challenges. The wiring puzzles in particular become repetitive and frustrating, turning what should be an enjoyable adventure into a grind. The game really needed a built-in hint system or hint book to help players when the puzzle logic becomes unclear. Overall, Broken Age starts strongly but struggles to maintain that quality through the second half. I cannot recommend it when there are better modern adventures that capture the retro spirit. If you enjoy classic point-and-click adventures, I would recommend Return to Monkey Island or Broken Sword Reforged instead.
If you're really big on point and click puzzle games, this might still be something you want to check out, but I found a lot of puzzles in the second half of the game completely obtuse. It left me frustrated and not wanting to play more.
For a Tim Schafer point-and-click adventure, this is just... fine. When you think of what defines Double Fine, Psychonauts comes to mind first and foremost, with its brilliant eccentricity and depth, followed to a lesser extent by the whimsical spirit of Broken Age. Tim Schafer's trademark flamboyant, effortlessly charming humor is there, but both the narrative structure and gameplay grow increasingly flimsy. It begins as a delightful experience, carried by its lovely visuals and sense of the bizarre, but ultimately becomes downright boring, leaving behind little more than an impression of shallowness.
WOW. AMAZING!!! This game is truly a masterpiece. I loved it. I do warn you though there is a 99% you'll need a walkthrough for some parts of this game. That didn't stop me from loving it!
